Do you follow your plan properly?

I mean, really follow it? Not 90% of the time, only had one take away and a few biscuits and a few frappuccino’s from Starbucks kinda follow the plan.

I mean, stick to it 100%. Do as you have to do, and do it until you achieve your goal. Simple! Don’t give yourself all the treats because you did good for a few days. That can ruin your progress!

Lauren has stuck to the plan. No excuses. Now, that’s not to say it’s been plain sailing! But the plan has always been the focus. Don’t loose sight of why you started. She’s only getting started. She hasn’t made excuses, she’s worked and got the results.

Things that need to be in your mind:

Steps - have you been hitting a decent number of steps? 10k isn’t everyone’s goal. If your average is 4000 steps, aim for 6000. Already 50% better!

Meals - have you been trying to hit protein? Have you been avoiding snacks? Stay off obvious carbs such as sugary snacks and stay close to zero liquid calories.

Exercise - are you getting your workouts in as planned? Have you been scheduling yourself in for workouts? Put it in the diary and turn up like it’s an appointment!

Movement every day - do not have completely lazy days. Try your best to at least move to your step count every day. Even if it’s a day of rest. Get up, move your body. You’ll feel so much better. Staying sitting and lazing around gives you that lazy mindset and you’ll start to crave the snacks. Keep your body moving.

In essence, eat less than you need and move more than you already do.

Paddy has been hard at that since January. With the simple task of ‘eat less, move more’ he has managed to drop a massive 20kilos! Next time you’re in the gym, try picking up a 20kg plate, you’ll understand that’s a serious weight loss.

Ciara started her training with the goal of shifting a few pounds and building up the strength across the whole body so I put together the plan to fit that goal and the food to drop the weight accordingly.

The results speak for themselves! Ciara’s Inbody scan results show bodyfat has dropped by 10lbs & muscle mass has increased by 2lbs. Amazing progress already! Bodyfat percentage also dropped 6% in only 10 weeks.

Fantastic progress so far! More and more results are coming in over the next few weeks/months👏

If you want the results, be prepared to put the work in! Ciara worked as hard as possible in training and kept up the progress with the food at home. No excuses💪 sticking to the plan

For the weekend, many people scrap their food plan and eat far too much food. This then leaves them back at square one every Monday morning, pi**ed off and unable to move forward with their goals. Stay on track, don’t throw the head up and keep going.

Staying active is so important. Many people reach the weekend after a long week and don’t move much further than their sofa or bed for 2 days straight, before heading back to work again come Monday. Get yourself up and out! It’ll make you feel better and improve your mental state and physical fitness also.

Planing your meals can make the difference between a great week and a terrible one. For many of us, life is hectic, so having the meals prepared or at least organised and in the fridge can make the world of a difference. Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

Selecting your days and times for your workouts means you have a plan in place and not waiting for the motivation to kick in (which often doesn’t) and leads to a missed workout. Pick a day and a time, book it into your diary before or after work, and smash it!
