Final word….
I have already let the committee know that I will be stepping down this month from both the convenor role and the main committee.

I wish Kev Robertson all the best in the role and hope the golf course management plan can be built upon that has been implemented over the past 5 years .

A big thank you to all the members that have helped me and the green staff over the last few years and I’m sure I will see many of you on the course in the future.

Autumn greens maintenance is under way.

Scarification , over seeding and top dressing on the agenda for this afternoon .

Hoping the rain that is forecast later stays away 🙏🏻

All members; Please be aware that work started this week to address the bare areas on the 3rd and 8th fairways.

These areas have been scarified today and will be cleared and seeded over the next few days.

The affected areas have been marked and should be treated as GUR.

Course getting sprayed -30th May 2022

Course open

Today (Monday 30th May), the course has been sprayed with a chemical treatment for daisies.

This requires to be left for a minimum of seven days to work effectively.

All members please be aware this will mean the fairways and approaches will be remain uncut until next week.
