We currently have 2 senior male teams, a womens team and 8 junior teams. We also hold regular sessions of touch and walking rugby - for all ages

SCAM EMAILS

There has been an uptick in scam emails again.

So please take extra care when receiving emails/messages from what look like members of the committee.

The scammers are using correct committee members names but incorrect emails addresses asking you to "contact them urgently" or "are you free?" or "can I ask for a quick favour" "What's your best availability this week"

If you respond they will try and get you to buy and send them gift cards for various sites or transfer money to them.

Just delete them or forward them onto me at [email protected]

WALKING RUGBY

Note: Walking Rugby has moved to the Everholm for the next few weeks while the Violetbank pitches are made ready for the new season.

This evening, 6pm to 7pm, then after-match refreshments and chat at the Blue Bell

£1 per session

All welcome, no rugby experience necessary!

WHAT IS WALKING RUGBY?

Walking rugby is a slower, non-contact version of the game for people looking to increase their physical activity levels.

It is suitable for those recovering from injury, retired players and older people looking to stay fit and active, but all ages are welcome.

Walking rugby provides participants with the opportunity to enjoy a social, physically active, healthy lifestyle.

The sessions will provide an opportunity to socialise and enjoy the benefits of exercising together in a relaxed environment with lots of fun and craic.

No previous rugby experience is necessary to take part.
