🌿 GREENS MAINTENANCE UPDATE — VERTI-DRAINING 🌿
We’ve been out on the greens today carrying out verti-draining — one of the most important jobs we do to keep the turf in top condition!
What does it do?
✅ Relieves compaction — eases that hard, packed-down soil
✅ Helps water soak in — better drainage, less pooling, healthier grass roots
✅ Flushes out stale gases — releases trapped, harmful gases from deep in the soil
✅ Brings fresh oxygen in — replaces those gases with fresh air, feeding the roots
✅ Stronger, healthier turf — deeper roots, better grass that stands up to play and weather
It’s all about giving the grass room to breathe, drink, and grow — so you get the best possible surfaces to play on 💪
You might notice the small holes across the greens — they’ll disappear in no time, and the greens will be all the better for it!
