And that’s it, one chapter finished and a new one just beginning. 📖
I’ve spend over 3.5 years working in Fit for Life, beginning as a trainee and working towards my level 2 and level 3 personal training course after I finished my foundation degree in Belfast.
After my first year in the gym taking classes I started with my first 1-2-1 client and so my own PT business unfolded with the help of many colleagues as mentors and my boss Noreen’s guidance.
My time in the gym has taught me so much, and also give me so much. Developing my confidence in taking classes, learning how to adapt when Covid came and taking classes via Zoom with limited equipment, working with the public and closely with clients on their health and fitness journey, working with young ladies who really just needed more confidence to working with elderly clients to begin their strength journey! And many different clients in-between. It’s been a huge eye opener to myself as a young person and I believe as a PT we are most definitely not just working on the physical but if not equally the mental side of a persons health journey also.
I’ve made so many amazing friends throughout my time in the gym and have been blessed with brilliant clients who have all contributed to my future and fulfilling my dreams to travel which I am so greatful for.
So lastly, for those that don’t know I am now finished in Fit For Life and preparing to get Married on Saturday 🙊🤍 Myself and Aidy will then be moving on to travel and finish in Australia for the foreseeable🌎
I do not know what is instore for my little PT page as I am not fully sure what’s next- and that’s ok- I’m so excited to explore and see what happens when we settle in Oz.. so for now I’ll keep it here and we’ll just see what happens🙊🥰
Thank you to every client, friend, family member, colleague and just kind people who have ever shared, liked, commented or recommended my little business.. it really has meant the world🌎 - exscuse the pun lol.
