Our U18s enjoyed a fabulous evening at their end of season awards celebration night! 🪩 Big thanks to 🏉 for joining us to present the team with their awards. Well done to all those who were nominated and won 🏆 It was also an opportunity to say a big thank you to the coaches who have worked so hard all season 🎁 and to our parents for their unfailing support 👏 We also said cheerio to our players ageing out and wish them all the luck in the world for their next adventures. 🔴🟠⚫️

Ampthill U14 Girls had a fantastic weekend away in Devon for The Devon Big Bash rugby at Ivybridge.
The girls were part of 6 strong teams and proud to end up 3rd.
The rest of the tour was filled with activities and cowboy fun throughout.
Thank you to all the coaches and parents for making it such a memorable trip for the girls 🤠🏆🏉

Our U18 Girls have been on tour this weekend at the Worthing 10’s festival. The girls did us proud, playing some excellent rugby, getting to compete against several England players along the way. We finished Saturday unbeaten and top of our group, eventually finishing the tournament 4th overall after a great fancy dress night out! Congratulations to our Semi-Final victors who went on to win the competion in a fiercely contested final against our old foes and good friends . Congratulations for organising an amazing event, it was fabulous to be part of over 1000 girls playing rugby. A great time was had by all the girls and parents, for many their final girls tour having made lifelong friendships and great memories together.

Travelling down to stay in Cornwall and attending a tournament at the great venue of Ivybridge rugby club the girls had the chance to play against 3 new clubs and put in great performances winning 3 out of 3 fixtures.

A great send off to the 5 year 7 pupils in the squad this weekend and must have a special mention for Florence Pitts who picked up our player of the tour award.

Best of luck to the girls going to the under 14s, you are in safe hands and the younger girls are looking forward to teaming back up with you.

For those staying in the under 12s it’s been a great year with girls going from strength to strength and we can wait to do it all again next year.

Presentation evening to go where we will wrap up a great year for the biggest growing age group in the section.

On a beautiful sunny afternoon our U18s travelled to Peterborough for their final league game. Some great rugby exhibited by both sides, but Ampthill ran out 29-75 winners, finishing their league campaign unbeaten and securing the East Mids League title. Thank you to Peterborough for being great hosts, we wish all the girls that are ageing out the very best in all their endeavours 🙌
