And that’s a wrap!! 😅😅

The Bryn Rovers Senior Tournament 2026 edition had 16 teams battle it out, with “Net-Six And Chill” taking the spoils in a closely fought final! 🏆🏆

An absolutely storming day despite the wet start, we couldn’t have done it without the support of our volunteers, so a massive thanks to the team behind the scenes - The refs, the chefs, rubbish collectors and the fixture boffins and the to name but a few! 🙏🙏

Today saw the club on a different outing.....

Some of the M&J section helped out at the incredible Joseph’s Smile event Wales V Europe charity match at Swansea.com stadium. Standing proudly pitch side each holding the Bells for Heaven stars displaying the names of all the children the charity so fondly remember and then waving the charity flags to welcome the players to the pitch. The atmosphere was electric, the experience unforgettable and seeing everyone coming together to support a charity so close to home was truly wonderful.

We'd like to thank the players from our U8s, U10s, U11s and Under 12s girls for their support today.

Our Under 10s football tour to Burnham-on-Sea was an unforgettable weekend filled with football, friendship, laughter, team spirit and memories that will last a lifetime.

The boys faced off against Berrow Juniors and were outstanding from start to finish. With different rules and formats to adapt to, the squad embraced every challenge thrown at them. It was fantastic to see how quickly they adjusted, showing maturity, teamwork and a real willingness to learn and improve. Their attitude and effort throughout were a credit to themselves and the club. We exchanged a pennant with Berrow as an act of kindness and friendship between the 2 clubs.

With everyone optimistic about the weather at the start of the week with thunder, ⚡ and ☔ forecast, it turned out to be a blistering weekend full of ☀️😎. Off the pitch, the fun continued with beach football battles and highly competitive astroturf matches against the grown-ups — games that became far more lively and entertaining than anyone expected! The boys absolutely loved the chance to test themselves against their coaches and parents, showing fearless determination, great skill and plenty of character along the way. Followed by an evening of S**t Shirts for everyone involved with some snazzy shirts on display.

The weekend was all about bringing the team even closer together. From start to finish there was constant laughter, encouragement and togetherness, creating a brilliant atmosphere that everyone involved will remember fondly.

The bond between the players grew stronger with every challenge and every moment shared together. Watching the boys support one another, enjoy each other’s success and represent the club with pride made the tour a massive success both on and off the pitch.

A fantastic weekend, memories to last a lifetime, a brilliant group of boys and possibly a few signings for our senior teams! 😜

⚽️ Kilgetty Tournament 2026 ⚽️
Bryn Rovers Girls U13s Runners Up

For the 4th year in a row Bryn travelled west for the Kilgetty Tournament. In a competitive group with 5 other teams, Bryn topped their group winning all 5 of their games.

They did so in impressive style, with Keeper Gracie Dixey and her defensive colleagues Ariana Elcock, Emilia Meo & Mali Lucas ensuring they did not concede a goal.

Whilst at the other end of the pitch, the midfield and attack of Cerys Davies, Eluned Pearce-Jones, Lowri Smith and Ria Prothero bagged 16 goals between them.

Into the semi finals and another clean sheet against some familiar rivals in Mumbles Rangers, lead to the dreaded penalty shoot out, but Bryn held their nerve and advanced to the finals.

Despite a positive start, against the run of play Tenby opened the scoring. For the remainder of the game Bryn laid siege to the Tenby goal, but a combination of the woodwork, some great saves, goal line clearances and near misses combined to deny a deserved equaliser, but it was not to be and congratulations to Tenby.

A fantastic day out, with the girls playing excellent football throughout. Thanks again to Kilgetty AFC for being fantastic hosts and we look forward to visiting again next year. 💛💙
