With the recent sad news of Peter’s passing , for those that wish to pay their respects his funeral will be on Tuesday 9th June 12pm Llanelli Crematorium and afterwards at Dinefwr indoor bowls for light refreshments.

Do you know anyone with a sight impairment, maybe they fancy a go at bowls with GABS Wednesday morning 10-12 with an hours bowling .

Or if you just want to chill then our Bowlers Bar and Restaurant is open .

It is with a heavy heart to announce the sad news that Mr Peter Thomas fixture secretary for Dinefwr IBC has passed away.
Peter was very dedicated to his role within the club .
For many years he’s arranged weekly, Championship and Merit leagues as well as organising all competition fixtures within the club, and something he always looked forward to was the annual friendly fixtures between Dinefwr Vets and sides such as Disability Bowls Wales and visiting travelling sides from Cynon Valley and afar which always proved to be a very good battles on the green.
From everyone here at Dinefwr IBC we wish to send Peter’s family our sincere condolences and hope Peter is now free of pain and at peace ❤️❤️

What an incredibly proud and memorable moment in our club’s history as we look ahead to this year’s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that two of our outstanding visually impaired bowlers have successfully made it through the nomination stage for Wales:

Steffan James – Nominated Bowler
Gareth Rowe – Nominated Non-Travelling Reserve

Both players have represented Wales with immense pride, passion, and dedication over many years, and these nominations are a truly deserved recognition of their hard work, commitment, and talent.

Everyone at the club is immensely proud of both Steffan and Gareth for this fantastic achievement. To be recognised at this level is a tremendous honour, not only for them personally, but for our club as a whole.

We now send our very best wishes to the entire Welsh team as they prepare for the Games — we will all be cheering you on every step of the way!

With the indoor season finally at a end for 2025/26, Friday night saw a great turnout for the Annual Presentation NIght.

The evening started with a fantastic two course meal cooked and served by our wonderful volunteers.

With the presentations starting off with trophies and medals for our Junior Section who competed in many Club and Welsh competitions throughout the season, congratulations to you all, you are the future of the club.
