Our first Championship game of the season is an away game at Torfaen 3rd October 2026 with an earlier start of 12:00pm. If you are member, no matter of age or ability and wish to be considered for selection then please write your name on the sheet on the club noticeboard.

Looking for something new to do, then come along to our JUNIOR BOWLS SESSIONS Saturday mornings 9.30am - 12.00pm
Starting Saturday 19th September 2026.
We offer expertise training and advice every week from our in-house coaching team.
All for £5.00 per session with an annual membership of £7.50

🏆 What a fantastic way to kick-start the indoor season! 🏆

With the outdoor season of bowls now over and barely a chance to catch our breath, we’ve started the indoor season here at Dinefwr IBC with a bang! 🎉

Today saw the inaugural Peter Thomas Memorial Triples Competition take place, with 36 players taking to the green — but with a twist! Each team of three was drawn completely at random, making for a fantastic and competitive afternoon of bowls.

With play underway, each rink played three ends, with the winners moving on to the next rink and accumulating their shots. At the interval, it was incredibly close at the top, with some great bowls being played throughout.

🥇 Champions: Paul Mason, Gilly Stook & Rob Russell
🥈 Runners-Up: Graham Noakes, Ryan Davies & Sue Clement

A huge congratulations to all six players — thoroughly deserved! 👏👏

All trophies and medals were presented by Peter’s widow Heather Thomas, making the occasion even more special as we remembered Peter and his contribution to our club. ❤️

A massive thank you to Andrew Yeomans for the incredible amount of hard work he put into organising and making this inaugural event such a successful and memorable occasion.

A big thank you also goes to the ladies in the kitchen for providing everyone with such lovely food throughout the afternoon. 🍽️👏

And, most importantly, thank you to everyone who took part, supported the event and helped make today so special.

It was a fantastic afternoon of bowls, friendship and remembrance — a fitting way to honour Peter Thomas. ❤️

With our inaugural Peter Thomas Memorial Competition fast approaching, may we remind all those who have entered to please arrive by 12pm so that we can start on time.

Please ensure you have suitable bowls footwear and are wearing casual bowls attire.

🎟️ Raffle prizes are needed, so your support would be greatly appreciated.

🍽️ Our Bowlers Bar & Restaurant will also be open for food and drinks.
