The Red Line in Swansea last Saturday! Glorious in the September Sun. An amazing day of solidarity, brilliant and thought provoking speeches and marching! Sad to hear all the names of the murd**ed children being read out but also inspiring meeting so many caring souls and lovely to catch up with old friends and make new ones. The kites on the beach were poignant as children now risk being killed if they fly one in Gaza, they have recently been outlawed.

Abertawe roeddet ti’n anhygoel. Gorymdaith llawn emosiwn. Y pobl mewn goch yn gwylio a chrio, wrth i ni fynd heibio, y barcudau ar y traeth a oedd yn arfer fod yn boblogaidd gyda plant o Balestina! Roedd yr areithiau’n drawiadol hefyd.

Blend strawberries, soya yoghurt with a bit of maple syrup. Pop in a lollipop mould over night. I used about 300g of strawberries and 150g yogurt, this made 12 small moulds. Delicious! About 300g dark chocolate and 200g white chocolate to cover but I was very generous you could use less. Let me know if you make them.

Rhwydd mefus, yogwrt soy plaen, sirop maple 🍁. Dyna hufen iâ digon hyfryd. Ar ôl gadael dros nos, gorchuddio gyda siocled! Hyfrydol!!!!

So last week was dramatic, he was unwell from Sunday, Friday we ended up in A&E!!! 5 days in Glangwili, with a virus with serious complications, not fun at 58 sleeping on a hospital floor. (Neither is being up all night in A&E). Rest and recuperation now, he still has a way to go.

Hwyl fawr Glangwili! Adre ar ôl ymweliad arall. 6 mis ar ein ymweliad am 5 diwrnod y tro diwethaf. Mae fe angen gorffwys a gwella go iawn nawr am sawl wythnos eto.

I made mini bakewell tarts! I wasn’t sure they would work as I could only find recipes for a large one, these are made without wheat so are gluten free. However there are plenty of almonds in the frangipani. I used low sugar jam, I am thinking next time to make my own jam as Mary Berry suggests in her recipe.

I am struggling to post my makes and bakes when I can see how much people are starving and struggling in Gaza can this be your daily reminder to BOYCOTT! Choose one or two if you can’t do everything, McDonald’s, Coca Cola, Starbucks, AirBnB are a few examples but google PSC Boycott, Divest and Sanction. Free Palestine, Free Congo Free Sudan Remember none of us are free until Palestine is free to misquote Nelson Mandela!
