Nature brushes are a lovely calming activity and give children the opportunity to experiment with texture and the freedom to be creative with abstract art. Painting aids hand to eye coordination, an important skill for toddlers to ensure their hand movement is in par with their vision. We love using different sensory materials such as pine and lavender for the brushes, along with found leaves, bracken and sticks.
