Old County Tops Fell Race

Old County Tops Fell Race Held in May, The Old County Tops Fell Race is a 37 mile/10,000ft event which is organised by the Achille Ratti Climbing Club.

The race was first held in 1988 and has been held annually since then except for 2001 when the event was cancelled due to the foot and mouth outbreak. The Race starts and finishes in Great Langdale and takes in the tops of Helvellyn, Scafell Pike and Coniston after which the competitors are fed and watered.

The results have just been posted on the Ratti and FRA websites. Sorry for the delay. To open them on the Ratti site you have to open the results from an earlier year first for some reason unknown to me.
I hope everyone enjoyed the event despite the dampish afternoon and we look forward to seeing a good few of you again on Saturday 22nd May 2027.
