Did you know that on every international trip we run, alongside First Aid Trained Mountain Leaders we have a dedicated UK Healthcare Professional available 24/7 if required?

This allows us to discuss any medical issues that arise or ask for a second opinion if required. In addition to this, our Lead Trek Leaders are authorised to carry Prescription Medications used to treat common illnesses, infections and injuries on expeditions 💊 , this can be vital in pre-hospital care settings 🏥

All our leaders carry comprehensive First Aid Kits that are crafted specifically for group use in changing environments that we operate within. From a small cut to a group member's finger to a Catastrophic Haemorrhage, we have kit to help treat and manage a range of potential injuries that may occur to ensure that you get the best possible pre-hospital care that we can provide.

Accompanying our First Aid Kits are a range of other pieces of essential emergency kit such as Survival Bag, Thermal Blanket, Whistle, Notepad + Pencil, Garmin In Reach Satelite Communication Device, Group Shelter and so much more!

These extra bits of kit help keen a casualty warm, dry and away from the elements whilst they recieve treatment or whilst we wait for further support. Over the weekend we had the pleasure to represent British Mountaineering Council and the incredible work they do for people exploring outdoor spaces and towards Access and Conservation.

We were at Scouts Gillwell Reunion to meet over 3000 members to tell them how the BMC can support them as a volunteer to give them a deeper insight into the organisation and the benefits we provide.

These range from shadowing opportunities for Scout Activity Instructors to gain valuable group management experience under supervision of qualified outdoor professionals or opportunities for discounted skills courses.

Join us Pioneer Mountaineering for an educational ascent of Helvellyn, designed for those who want to develop their mountain skills while experiencing one of the Lake District’s most iconic peaks.

This isn’t your standard guided hike.

With Luke & Nathan, both qualified Mountain Leaders, you’ll have experienced professionals with you throughout the day, providing practical tuition, mountain knowledge and skills based learning as you go.

Look no further as Mera Peak 6476m in Nepal 🇳🇵 offers a unique experience for your first steps into a more technical expedition in Nepal.

The trip encompasses Forest Trekking, Glacial Travel, Fixed Rope Ascension/ Decension and a named Nepalese Summit.

No previous technical experience is required as we provide 2 UK Training Days and an In Country Training day to get you up to speed with everything you need to know. Full support is also provided by our community from day 1 of booking!

Our hearts are with the people of Rasuwa and everyone affected by the devastating floods along the Bhote Koshi River.

Communities have lost homes, infrastructure, livelihoods, and loved ones. Rescue and relief teams are working through extremely difficult conditions to reach those affected.

We stand in solidarity with the affected families and communities and wish those in crisis are safe soon!

Thankfully none of our Nepali Staff are affected by this horrible disaster 🇳🇵
