Much better weather today and Lizzie was keen for a day at Hutton Roof Crags, so that's where we went. Had the place to ourselves all day too.
Over the course of the day we climbed 14 routes, with Lizzie leading a few too.
A wonderful little crag with loads of good quality routes and views from the top are particularly splendid.

A mixed and hard to read weather forecast for today so we headed to the very accessible crags of Silverdale. The tide was a little higher than expected when we arrived but we made it to the crag without any wet feet dramas. The warm up routes were being washed by the waves so we were straight into mid-grade climbs. As the sea receded we aimed for the more amenable routes, these were a delight.
Bolting at the crag is really friendly, the rock is mostly decent although caution is required on some routes. The best bit though is the stunning location with Morecambe Bay right there and all the sea birds so close by :-)

An ace day out in the Esk Gorge with the team from Butler Interiors. Big jumps, big waterfalls, big levels of adrenaline all round :-)

Double gorge today. First up was Stoneycroft in the Newlands valley with Amy, Carl, George, and Missy.
Then south to Stickle Ghyll with Sarah and Matthew.

As ever, an absolute blast with loads of splashing, sliding, jumping, and scrambling. Thanks everyone :-)

Scout Crag in Langdale for some rock climbing this morning with a family from London. And a shot of me working at Hodge Close quarry yesterday.
