A totally unique challenge for teams of sailors and runners visiting five of Northumberland's most stunning castles and the beautiful islands along North Northumberland's breath-taking coastline. 24 hour time limit, overnight.

The count down is on!

Here is the weekends schedule for the Castles and Islands Challenge 2026.

All welcome at the clubhouse with the bar open from 4pm on Friday, serving up take away Pie and Mash for participants and spectators. Help cheer the runners on at the end of their first leg with the traditional Sax tunes setting the tone.

Bar open from 1pm on Saturday with the Greek Street Food van on site and serving from 4-8pm.
