🏆 Newcastle City Juniors Summer Cup 🏆

The Azzurri boys came away with winning the plate today after a difficult start.

Down to 6 players in one match but did themselves proud only to loose by a single goal. We managed to pull back to a full team and on to the semi finals, we drew 1-1 in the game then came a tense Penalty Shootout but the lads were strong 💪

Into the final against the team they lost the opening game to 2-0 and there was only ever going to be one winner the lads left everything on the pitch and came away 1-0 winners. Big lesson learnt today on not to let their heads drop and keep fighting.

Big thanks to City Juniors for hosting, first tournament I’ve ever been to that actually finished early 🤣. First day in the new kits kindly sponsored by Custom Homes Ltd thanks guys 🙏
