TENNIS FUNDRAISER TO HELP RAISE MONEY TO TO BUILD MODERN FAMILY/REHAB MND CENTRE - Lets get them to double their target!
Our members Sam and Andy Barke have been following the Rob Burrows heroic story since his MND (Motor Neurone Disease) diagnosis almost 2 years ago.
The former Leeds Rhinos rugby league player and the NHS have set up an appeal to raise Β£5 million. The aim is to build a modern rehab/family centre (in Leeds) to help sufferers of this disease, and their families, through the inevitably sad & challenging MND journey (it's still an incurable disease).
It will be Rob's legacy and benefit many MND sufferers indefinitely.
Sam and Andy have organised a marathon doubles day to raise some money for this brilliant cause. It takes place this Sunday,
10th Oct. 7am-7pm
It will be a mixed/ladies/mens/senior & juniors who have all payed to play.
We'd love it if you would boost their effort and support by making a donation to the fundraising page too:
