Welcome to the new LEEDS Gryphons Ice Hockey Club, the first ever at the University of Leeds. LUUIHC is a mixed gender sports club, catering to all abilities and universities in Leeds! The ice rink is a 15 min bus from the city center. Taxi and ride sha

res are normally arranged costing about £2 per person. The training and hockey is looking a little different this season due to COVID-19. The club have lots of safe protocols in place to maximise safety and minimise impact on training potential. We are a member of the British Universities Ice Hockey Association (BUIHA) league. This is the governing body for university ice hockey, regulating our games and providing officials and insurance. The league allows students and staff of any Leeds based institution studying at level 4 or higher (degree level) to be able to join and play.
