⚽️Alton FC Girls Football Tournament 2026 ⚽️
Our fourth successive girls’ tournament at Alton FC brought a first for us… rain! ☔️
Thankfully, the weather did nothing to dampen the spirits of the players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who helped make the day another fantastic success.
Teams from across Hampshire joined us for a brilliant day of football, with age groups ranging from U10s to U16s. The standard of play, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm on display throughout the day was outstanding. As they say, football was the real winner.
A huge thank you to every team that took part and supported the event. Every game was played in a fantastic spirit, and it was wonderful to see so many girls enjoying the game we all love.
Special thanks must also go to our incredible coaches and volunteers who, despite looking more like drowned rats than football officials by the end of the day, worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly.
We are incredibly fortunate at Alton FC to have such a dedicated support network. Events like these simply wouldn’t be possible without you.
