Don’t forget next Saturday 15th November we’re holding a darts competition at the club. There’s £100 for the youth that gets the furthest in the competition.. Come and have a go, you could get lucky and draw Jamie or desperately unlucky and draw me.. Either way it’ll be a good experience for the kids.. Hope to see a few of you there…

Im sorry to say that due to circumstances out of our control, this week’s academy session will have to be CANCELLED. As you’re all aware Pat and Colin have been kind enough to back our academy since day 1 and without them none of it would’ve been possible.
Last week they had their annual club inspection and have been told by the licensing that every person attending the club over the age of 18 will have to become a member of the club.
This cost £22 for the year. Under 18’s are free to enter with adult member. We appreciate again that it’s an additional cost but at the moment there’s no other option. Please feel free to reach out and message us with any concerns.

Message from Josh of the JDC

Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a good summer break,

With Season 5 now underway, we would like to clarify the exclusive qualification criteria on behalf of Winmau, for the Winmau Junior World Masters through your academy affiliation with Winmau.

Each Winmau academy at the request of Winmau, will receive 2 representations at finals day on the 31st January 2026 at Bradmoor Farm. The top player from your academy order of merit, based on total scores from season 5, and your top player from season 6 will receive these 2 spots. If the same player tops the order of merit in both seasons the second player in season 6 will qualify.

The qualifiers must have met the following criteria,
MUST be under 18 on the 1st February 2026 ( THE FINAL )
MUST have completed 6 OR MORE weeks within the season (same rules as grading) Obviously with this criteria, the more scores the better for trying to qualify as its on TOTAL scores not average.
If your Qualifiers cannot make finals day on the 31st January or the stage final on the 1st February we do not go down your order of merit to find a replacement. So please ensure all your students are aware of the dates asap.

All students who do not qualify this way can attend the WJWM play offs on the 17th/18th January to battle it out for there spot for finals day. (VENUE TBC) This Playoff is exclusive to the JDC academy system and not an open event.

As coaches, please can we ask you to email myself at the end of season 5 with your number one ranked players full name and email contact. Also to confirm they have met the qualification criteria listed above and are able to attend. Then the same after season 6.
