After our success in Derby the previous weekend, we sent another small squad of 11 students to the ITF British Open (24/25 Nov) and had another highly successful weekend. After some really tough competition they finished the weekend with 8 x gold medal British Champions, 4 x silver and 1 x bronze.

This weekend, seven of our students will travel to Croatia with the England National Team for the ITF World Championships 2025.
I am already so very proud of each and everyone of them and I wish the team the very best of luck.
It will be the biggest and toughest competition they have ever been involved in. Whatever happens, they will have an amazing time, make memories that will last a lifetime and continue to inspire the people that they train with and the youngsters they help teach.
Having spent four years with the squad myself I know what a gruelling week both the competitors and coaches will have and I wish them all the very best.

We are very pleased to announce a selection result.
Whilst travelling to Manchester to start university, Cerys Janway took a rather long winded detour and attended the British University team selections in Loughborough. Whilst they don't normally make on the spot decisions, she was offered and accepted, a place in the squad with immediate effect. Well done, Cerys. 👏👏👏

By the time we return to classes next week, five of our students will be in Bosnia, as part of the England National Team, at the ITF European Championships.
I'm very proud of how far they have come on the Taekwon-Do journey so far, and we would like to wish them all the very best of luck.

A tough weekend at the Warrior Open in London, but some well-earned results for Taekwon-Do instructor Paul Adams and his students from Alton (and Aldershot).
Over 1,000 competitors, from 19 countries attending from as far afield as south America and Malaysia, with numerous former and current World and European champions in attendance.

Gold medal for Edward Frith in junior male green belt patterns.
Gold medal for Oscar Bassett in 12 to 14 years green belt sparring.
Gold medal for Edward Frith in 10 to 11 years green belt sparring.
Gold medal for Tom Sumner in 10 to 11 years blue belt sparring.
Gold medal for Spencer Gibson in junior male blue belt patterns.
Gold medal for Sarah Seddon in senior female green belt patterns.
Gold medal for Sarah Seddon in -60kg senior female green belt sparring.
Silver medal for Oscar Bassett in junior male green belt patterns.
Bronze medal for Abbie Rackley in senior female black belt patterns.

Alton Taekwon-Do hold classes each week at Eggars School, running three separate programs. 4 to 7 years, 8 to 12 years and teens and adults.
