For 'Average Joe's' and athletes alike, looking to improve their fitness, general conditioning, strength, endurance etc. Monthly memberships available, as well as 'pay as you train' options for 'one offs'. Classes and Personal training also available, as well as sports team training.

IRON FORGE GYM – A NEW COACHING STRUCTURE

Iron Forge Gym is evolving to a fully coaching-led training model, designed to help people get clearer guidance and better results from their training.

Coaching and support have always been part of the gym, but we’re now introducing a more structured system so that every member has a clear direction and level of support suited to them.

When joining Iron Forge, members will now choose from one of three coaching approaches:

Team / Pathway Training
Members follow a structured programme within a chosen training pathway such as:

• Strength & General Fitness
• Hypertrophy / Fat Loss
• Powerlifting
• Strongman
• Sports Performance

Each pathway includes an introductory workshop to learn key techniques and a weekly group session where members train alongside others following the same style of training.

1:1 Personal Training
Fully personalised coaching for those who want individual guidance, tailored programming and close support.

Small Group Personal Training (3–6 people)
Train with a small group under close coaching supervision, combining structured programming with a supportive training environment.

For people who cannot attend regularly in person, online coaching and programming options are also available.

The aim of the new structure is to provide clear guidance, structured training and a supportive community environment, helping people learn how to train properly and make consistent progress.

Important Update: Iron Forge Gym

Iron Forge Gym will soon be transitioning to an exclusively coached-first model.

This change allows us to provide the highest possible training experience for everyone who trains here. The culture at Iron Forge has always been centred on learning, developing skill, and building long-term strength and knowledge. Whether you are completely new to strength training or a seasoned strength sports athlete, this is a gym where continued development, education, and progression are core values.

All existing members will have their current membership options honoured. However, moving forward, we will be closing open (non-coached) memberships to new members. Training at Iron Forge will increasingly be supported by structured coaching to ensure high standards, safety, and long-term progress across the gym.

Transition period

There will be an approximately 3-month transition window (exact dates to be announced shortly). During this time, new members may still join on a standard, non-coached membership. Once this window closes, all new memberships will include a level of coaching at their core.

Coaching options will include:
• Online Coaching Lite (limited check-ins)
• Full Online Coaching
• Full Online Coaching with Nutritional Guidance

Additional services such as:
• Gym access
• 1:1 sessions
• Small Group PT
• 2-hour technique reviews / consultations

…and other services will be available to create a bespoke coaching package tailored to individual goals, preferences, and budget.

If you’ve been considering joining Iron Forge Gym and are only looking for a standard membership without coaching, please be aware this option will only be available for a limited time.
