Physical capacity isn’t about how much punishment you can tolerate.

It’s about becoming more capable of handling the demands of your life.

When I work with someone, I don’t start by throwing a programme at them.

We start by understanding:

→ What are you actually trying to achieve?
→ Where are you starting from?
→ What can your body currently handle?
→ How does it respond to training?

From there, we build.

Strength.
Fitness.
Muscle.
Work capacity.

And gradually, we increase the output we’re asking from the body.

But there’s a crucial piece that often gets missed.

Life doesn’t stop because you’ve got a training programme.

Work.
Family.
Stress.
Poor sleep.
Busy periods.

All of these affect your ability to recover and perform.

So I don’t want to build someone who can simply train harder.

I want to help build someone who is stronger, fitter and more physically capable of handling life.

That’s physical capacity.

And it’s one part of the Human Systems approach.

Tomorrow, we’ll look at another: regulation.

28/07/2026

Maybe motivation isn’t your problem.

Maybe you’re simply asking too much of a system that hasn’t had enough opportunity to recover.

When you’re physically depleted, mentally overloaded and constantly operating under pressure, even simple things can feel disproportionately difficult.

That’s not necessarily laziness.

And it isn’t always a lack of discipline.

Sometimes your capacity is simply being exceeded.

The answer isn’t always to push harder.

It can be to build:

→ Physical capacity
→ Better recovery
→ Nervous system regulation
→ More sustainable habits
→ Greater resilience

Because when your capacity increases, life doesn’t necessarily become easier.

You become better equipped to deal with it.

That’s a very different approach to performance.

Build the human. Build the capacity.

Stress isn’t designed to stay switched on forever.

Your body is built to move between periods of challenge and periods of recovery.

The problem is that modern life often gives us plenty of pressure…

…but very little recovery.

Over time, your nervous system can begin to accept stress as its normal operating state.

That’s when everything starts to feel harder.

You feel more reactive.

You struggle to switch off.

Your sleep suffers.

Your patience disappears.

Your body isn’t broken.

It’s simply adapted to the environment it’s been living in.

The good news?

The nervous system can adapt in the other direction too.

That’s why Human Systems isn’t about fixing one thing.

It’s about building healthier systems through movement, nutrition, daily nervous system regulation and deeper restorative breathwork.

Because you don’t need a stress-free life.

You need a body that knows how to recover from stress.

👇 Have you ever noticed yourself feeling “constantly switched on”?

17/07/2026

Stress isn’t your enemy.

Your inability to recover from it is.

We often spend our lives trying to eliminate stress.

But that’s impossible.

Life will always bring pressure.

The real skill is learning how to recover.

That’s why Human Systems isn’t about one solution.

It’s about building a healthier system.

💪 Exercise to strengthen your body.

🥗 Nutrition to fuel it.

🌬 Daily breathwork to regulate your nervous system.

🎧 Deeper 9D Breathwork when you’re ready to process what you’ve been carrying.

Health isn’t one thing.

It’s how everything works together.

And remember…

Looking after yourself isn’t selfish.

It’s self first.

What helps you recover when life feels overwhelming?

Some of the deepest patterns we carry weren’t created yesterday.

They often begin much earlier in life.

The way we see ourselves.

The way we receive love.

The way we respond to stress.

The way we connect with others.

This weeks 9D Breathwork Journey explores what’s often referred to as the Mother Wound.

Not to place blame.

Not to relive the past.

But to better understand yourself with compassion, create space for healing and choose what you carry forward.

If this speaks to you…

I’d love to welcome you.

We’ve been taught that if we just think hard enough… we’ll eventually find the answer.

I’ve believed that for years.

If I could just analyse the situation a little more…
Read another book…
Listen to another podcast…
Maybe I’d finally work it all out.

But here’s what I’ve come to realise…

Some things can’t be solved with more thinking.

They have to be felt.

Sometimes what keeps us stuck isn’t a lack of knowledge.

It’s a nervous system that’s been carrying stress, emotion or experiences for far longer than it was ever designed to.

That’s why I don’t believe health is built through one thing alone.

🏋🏻 Move your body.

🥗 Fuel it well.

🌬 Learn to regulate your nervous system.

🧠 And, when you’re ready, create the space to process what you’ve been carrying.

Because sometimes…

Your body is still holding the score while your mind is searching for the answer.

That’s the philosophy behind Human Systems.

Helping people become healthier, stronger, calmer and more connected to themselves.

Have you ever found yourself trying to think your way out of something that actually needed to be felt?

👇 I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Health isn’t one thing.

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make is believing there’s one thing that’s going to transform their health.

“The perfect workout.”

“The perfect diet.”

“The perfect supplement.”

“The perfect breathing technique.”

The reality?

Lasting change happens when you start looking after the whole human.

🏋️ Move your body.

🥗 Fuel it well.

🌬 Learn to regulate your nervous system.

🧠 And when you’re ready, process the emotional weight, old stories and experiences you’ve been carrying for years.

None of these replace each other.

They work together.

That’s the philosophy behind Human Systems.

Not quick fixes.

Not extremes.

Just helping people become healthier, stronger, calmer and more connected to themselves.

Which area do you feel deserves the most attention right now?

Today wasn’t about being productive.

It was about pressing pause.

It’s something I talk about a lot with my clients, my wife and my children.

Because life has a habit of convincing us that slowing down is falling behind.

I don’t believe that.

I think constantly pushing without stopping is one of the quickest ways to lose yourself.

Today I left work behind for a few hours.

I went skating.

Walked by the sea.

Breathed a little deeper.

And reminded myself that looking after my own nervous system isn’t a luxury…

It’s a responsibility.

Not just for me…

But for the people I love and the people I have the privilege of supporting.

Breathwork has taught me that healing isn’t only about processing suppressed emotions, old stories or past experiences.

It’s also about learning when to stop.

To rest.

To breathe.

To reconnect with what makes you feel alive.

Because when your own cup is full…

You have so much more to give.

So here’s my question…

What helps you press pause on life?

👇 I’d genuinely love to hear.
