We’re excited to announce that our Teacher Training Crash Course is back in October at Alsager Leisure Centre!

📅 Dates: Monday 26th – Friday 30th October
🕤 Time: 1pm-3pm, 30-minute lessons
💸 Cost: Just £1 for the full week!

This fantastic opportunity gives children the chance to enjoy 5 x 30-minute swimming lessons delivered by our trainee swimming teachers, who are fully supported by our qualified staff. It’s a great way to build water confidence, improve technique, and have fun during the school break. While we do not expect the trainee swimming teachers to complete assessments during this course, swimmers usually take these extra sessions and progress in the following weeks.

👧🧒 Who: Suitable for children in stages 1-7

🏊‍♂️ Customer Notice - General Swim Cancellation 🏊‍♀️

Please be aware that the General Swim session on Thursday 3rd September from 7:00pm to 8:00pm has been cancelled due to our monthly lifeguard training.

This month's training focuses on the management of spinal injuries, including practical scenarios using our PXB spine board. As this is a more in-depth topic requiring additional hands-on training and assessment, the session will run longer than our usual monthly training.

Regular lifeguard training is vital to ensure our team maintains the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to respond effectively in emergency situations and continue providing a safe environment for all pool users.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and support as we carry out this important training.

🏊 Important Swim Session Update 🏊

Please note that General Swim at Alsager Leisure Centre on Tuesday 1st September will start at 4:00pm instead of 3:00pm due to an RLSS Lifeguard Zone Visibility Test (LZVT) taking place in the pool.

The LZVT is a nationally recognised safety assessment carried out by the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS). It ensures lifeguards have clear visibility of all areas of the pool and can effectively monitor swimmers, helping us maintain the highest standards of safety for all our customers.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
