The reason why you fail, is because you try to do too much too quickly - start small, stay consistent, add from there!

Aim: To make every rep look the same as rep 1

Almost all these sets are taken to around 2 RIR - however the form composure and tempo may mislead you into thinking it was ‘easy’ - in my head I’m thinking slow it down, take it deep, drive it up, repeat.

On the outside these reps that feel chaotic look controlled - this is how training should be, controlled, focussed, intense… with composure

At the end of the day, comparison to other people physiques can be great inspiration, but usually leads to disappointment

However, comparing yourself against yourself - is the best form of improvement, because it’s do able, you can always get better

2020 me is in great shape, 2026 is better, hopefully 2030 me will crush both of these! 💪😝

But, it can be a very positive place if you look at things the right way

Follow honest, true people who give good information - learn, get better, progress and become a better person physically and mentally

Consistency is the only way to improve, so stop making the journey so damn hard!! Instead, start simple… once you’ve done have done that for 8 weeks, start to make small changes until you have consistently changed your nutrition and gym training into what you want it to be 🙌

My Photoshoot Progress: 2024 ➝ 2025

My goal for this year’s photoshoot was to come in leaner than last year. I hadn’t had the most successful gaining phase, and after an operation in December, I ended up taking the longest break from the gym in my 9 years of training.

It wasn’t until I put the two pictures side by side that I realised just how much leaner I managed to get this prep. Now I’m excited to see what a proper gaining phase will do for next year’s comparison.

Time to make some gains!
