Cranberry Karate Club

Cranberry Karate Club held a black belt grading on 15th August and we are delighted to announce that Ben James and Jake Pearson have achieved a 1st Dan in Shotokan Karate.

The grading lasted 4 hours but everyone performed extremely well.

Jake Pearson is now one of the few people in the country who have achieved black belts in Karate, Ju Jitsu and Judo.

On Saturday it was the turn of our beginners to grade. Everyone did so well and impressed the Senseis hugely. Well done to you all 😀

Congratulations to our superstar intermediates who graded at the weekend! It was a brilliant grading, everyone passed and did amazingly well.

Our intermediates trophy went to Archie!

Archie won because he's put a lot of extra effort in lately, and he knows his syllabus and kata really well. Keep up the good work Archie!

All of our Student of the Month trophy winners for this year will be entered into a prize draw at the end of the year.

This week we handed out our Student of the Month trophies for February.

First up was our beginners trophy, which went to Dexter. Dexter has been working hard and knows the syllabus for his level very well, and he has been helping other students.

Well done Dexter!

For our intermediates, January's Student of the Month is Arthur!

Arthur won for how he's approached stepping up to the intermediate class, he's thrown himself into everything and put in a huge amount of effort.

Our January Beginners Student of the Month award went to Phoebe! She won for her hard work and excellent concentration, and it was lovely to see how pleased she was to win it 😊
