Every yard needs a queen, and ours has just arrived!

Meet Queenie, our gorgeous 16hh Palomino Irish Sports Horse, aged 11. She combines elegance with a sensible head and is ideal for teenage and adult riders.

One of her favourite things? Heading out for a peaceful hack and enjoying the beautiful Hampshire countryside. 🌿🐴

We can't wait for more riders to get to know her and create some wonderful memories together.

☀️🐴 Rupert Approves! 🐴☀️

Rupert has been busy inspecting the new shade sails at Eden Equine... and we're pleased to report they have received his seal of approval! ✅

With the warmer weather here, we've added extra shaded areas to help our horses stay comfortable, cool and protected from the sun while enjoying their time outdoors.

As always, the wellbeing of our horses comes first, and these new sails provide a welcome place to relax, recharge and escape the heat during the sunniest parts of the day.

Judging by Rupert's efforts to show them off, we think he's quite proud of them too! 😎🐴

There's a new face at Eden Equine and she's impossible to miss! 💛

Queenie is an 11-year-old 16hh Irish Sports Horse with a stunning palomino coat and a lovely, kind temperament.

She enjoys getting out and about on a hack and is perfectly suited to teenagers and adults looking for a reliable and enjoyable ride. Whether it's exploring the countryside or enjoying a lesson in the arena, Queenie loves having a job to do.

🌟🐴 Say a huge welcome to Robyn Mackenzie! 🐴🌟

We’re delighted to welcome Robyn Mackenzie to the Eden Equine coaching team.

Robyn is a BHS Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship, Equine Lecturer and Equine Behaviour Trainer with an MSc in Equine Behaviour, Performance and Training. Combining academic knowledge with hands-on experience, she brings a thoughtful, supportive approach to helping both horses and riders thrive.

Having competed her own horse to Medium level dressage, Robyn enjoys coaching riders of all ages and abilities, from those taking their very first steps into the equestrian world through to grassroots competitors looking to progress.

Her sessions focus on clear communication, confidence building, correct rider position and, most importantly, enjoying the journey with your horse.

We're excited for our riders to benefit from Robyn’s knowledge, enthusiasm and calm coaching style.

🌟🐴 A Warm Welcome to Katie Lockyear! 🐴🌟

We’re delighted to welcome Katie Lockyear to the Eden Equine team from next week!

Katie brings with her more than 20 years of equestrian experience, having worked alongside Olympic riders and top Grand Prix horses at prestigious events including Badminton Horse Trials and Germany’s renowned Bundeschampionate. She also spent five years training at leading competition and breeding yards in Germany, developing a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise.

A passionate dressage rider and coach, Katie has successfully run her own freelance coaching business for the past 15 years, helping horse-and-rider partnerships develop with confidence, kindness and clear communication.

When she’s not teaching, Katie can be found training her own Dutch Warmblood mare, with the pair currently working at Prix St Georges (PSG) level.

Katie will be available at Eden every weekend alternative days from 6th June, and we’re excited for our riders to benefit from her experience, encouragement and enthusiasm.
