Two teams in action tonight!

The 1st XI return to Tillside Cricket Club for the second round of the Thomas Wilson League Cup.

The Women’s team host Tillside Women in the Northumberland Women’s Cricket League.

Both games are a 6pm start. Good luck to all involved! ☀️

A brilliant week for our junior teams this week with ALCC U11 boys wining against Ashington Cricket Club and our ALCC U14 girls securing a win against Bates Cottages CC

Well done to all the players (and parents for their pitch side encouragement, hydration and general taxi service). The future looks golden at ALCC 🏆

A tough afternoon on Saturday for all teams at ALCC, but still a strong performance from Michael Leeson who earned his first club cap for Howick, taking 6 wickets, plus an impressive 51 not out in a losing cause.

Sunday proved a lot more fruitful as ALCC Women notched up another excellent victory with strong performances from Elizabeth McLean and Taylor Straughan.

Brian Brooks has brought real control and consistency in both league and cup fixtures this month, and has taken some key wickets at crucial moments with 4-10 vs Alnwick and 3-30 vs Morpeth. Sponsored by

Jake Graham has looked very comfortable behind the stump since stepping up to div 3 cricket at the start of the season. Jess Vickers has stepped up to play for ALCC women this season and has shown great commitment. She has great skill and courage in the field and bowls brilliantly against far senior players. She has great partnerships when batting with every player, she’s quick on her feet and always backs the striker up which resulted in a 2-10 against Rock with a respectable 7 off the bat.
