Ponteland United 1–4 Longhoughton Rangers 🔴🟡

Another fantastic performance from the lads, showing great teamwork, battling for each other and playing some excellent football.

We went 1–0 down but quickly responded with Yura finishing a well-worked set piece to make it 1–1.

The second half saw us find our rhythm, with Jack finishing a great through ball from Jaxon before Yura added another after some brilliant football down the left.

We changed formation with 15 minutes to go to regain control, and Josh finished a free kick to make it 4–1.

A brilliant team performance and a great reward for the hard work in training.

A fantastic team performance today, with the boys showing sheer determination, intensity and togetherness from the first whistle.

We pressed really well as a team and made it extremely difficult for the opposition to play, constantly putting them under pressure and forcing mistakes. We also played some really good football, moving the ball well and creating numerous chances throughout the game.

The hard work, attitude and desire to compete for every ball was excellent, and the clean sheet was a great reward for the defensive effort.

A well-deserved 2–0 win and a performance the boys should be really proud of.
