🎊 FYRISH BIRTHDAY BASH - TODAY'S THE DAY! ☀️

The sun is set to shine, spirits are high after this morning’s victory, and we’re ready to celebrate! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Whether you're continuing your celebrations or simply looking for a fun filled day in the sunshine, come along to our Fundraising Birthday Bash today from 11:00–15:00!

Over the weekend some of our squad girls attended the Preparation Grades at Ravenscraig. The girls performed some beautiful routines and should be very proud of themselves!! 🤩

A special mention must go to Alicia who has joined the elite group of pupils achieving her 500 hr Saltire certificate.

Alicia has volunteered with Fyrish Gymnastics since 2021, amassing this incredible amount of hours.

In their words “Alicia is an incredible asset to the gym not only as a gymnast but also as a volunteer”

Sandy’s tumble workshop!🤩🖤🩷

💫 COACH EDUCATION 💫

We were delighted to host the second of our coach education workshops with Former National & Commonwealth coach Sandy Richardson.

We are passionate about investing in the development of our coaches and creating opportunities for coach education in the highlands, utilising our facility to support our gymnastics community!

In this session we focused on all things tumble- learning about the straight forwards and backwards somersault and also some twisting. We also went right back to the basics and learned about the fundamentals of tumbling which was brilliant.

We were delighted to be joined and have the opportunity to train alongside fellow coaches and gymnasts from Inverness Gymnastics Club & Caithness Gymnastics Club 🤸🏼‍♂️

Such a fantastic opportunity for rural clubs in Scotland and the feedback on the workshops so far has been incredible! ☺️
