Events at Alness Golf Clubhouse

We are so grateful to all our guests who have chosen us to host their events this year. From Baby Showers to Birthday Parties, Funeral Teas to Wedding Receptions, we are well versed in hosting a variety of different occasions tailored around your needs.

We have some availability for the remainder of this year, and we are already starting to receive enquiries for next year. 🦁🐆🐒🐘 Safari was the theme for Caitlin's baby shower today & I think you will all agree that Mam & Sister, Melissa & Chloe, absolutely Nailed it 😍. How beautiful are all these amazing touches 😃.

These ladies were an absolute joy to have today & such well behaved & POLITE kiddies 😃, our bar staff had a great afternoon with you all.

Holly's 21st Birthday Party 😃. Absolutely loving last nights set up again with some simple upcycled bottles with some battery operated fairy lights & some fabulous personal touches with balloons, lighting, photos & word art 😍. This room is really a blank canvas & can be so versatile when choosing a theme or decor for your event 😃. If your not sure which direction to go, our staff are on hand to help assist with ideas, recommendations & what we know works well in the room so please don't be shy in asking 😊

Ahhhhh Nikki's 21st Birthday Party 😃. How amazing did the hall look with simple upcycled wine bottles, some battery operated fairy lights & battery operated tea light candles every where 😍. We are so in love with this set up, the photos don't do last night justice at all!

With permission to share; here is what Del's wife, Amanda, had to say about Saturday night:

"Just wanted to say a massive thank you for yesterday. Gemz & Neil were an amazing help with the set up & decorating of the hall & Emma was fantastic on the night itself. I can't speak highly enough of you all!! Brilliant from start to finish. It was absolutely perfect. Even the security guard came outside with an umbrella for my Mum & escorted her in as she was on a crutch. It was like the Queen had arrived 😂. The whole team were amazeballs"

We can't thank you enough Amanda for your incredibly kind words in regards to our staff ☺️ & we are so pleased you were happy with the service received & that your event went to plan 😊. We hope Del had an amazing special birthday 😃.

Amanda contacted us quite a few months ago to secure the date in the diary. We arranged a venue consultation meeting a few weeks before the party so Amanda could get ideas about how she wanted the room to be transformed. On Saturday afternoon, armed with her friends & all her decorations, Amanda had a very clear vision of how she wanted the room to look & we were delighted to assist in anyway we could 😊.

Buffet was in the form of Pizza's from the takeaway on the High Street being pre-ordered in advance & delivered half way through the night to the Clubhouse.

The birthday cake was created by Sweet Dotty Alness 🎂

We were delighted to have been approached by Alness United Football Club ⚽️ to host their breakfast at the Clubhouse this morning prior to their Texas Scramble ⛳️🏌‍♂️ Our Gemz pictured below with Alness United Football Club Manager, Robert MacCormack, says

"We were happy to assist in anyway that we could. It was lovely to catch up with so many familiar faces this morning 😃. Unfortunately we were unable to host their Prize-giving afterwards due to a pre-existing booking in the hall however we were happy to see that the Commercial Hotel were able to step in & host 😊. We hope everyone enjoyed their morning".

It was also great to see George Reid Photography out on the course taking snaps of everyone 📸. George is local to the area & has an entire range of various different shoots in his skill set from landscape to sporting events to children's school pictures & a whole heap more & can be contacted on his page 😊.

H E N P A R T Y 🥳.

We had the pleasure of finally being able to host the gorgeous Katie's Hen Party on Saturday afternoon 😀. The party was originally booked back in 2020 but unfortunately Covid hit the world & we were all in lockdown, so we were thrilled when the girls got in touch to talk about diary availability this year so Katie could eventually have her afternoon of fun 💃.

The girls decided to book a life drawing session & they used the agency Hens with Pens 🎨 hosting this in the Club house before heading into Inverness for a meal 😋.

We hope you all had a fabulous time girls & thank you for choosing the Clubhouse to host your event 😊. When you meet the bride a few days AFTER you have hosted her event & she gives you a great big massive hug; I think you can take that as she was happy with the service she received 😃.

Linda & Jamie along with their son, Harris, flew to Cyprus last month where they were married 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️. A few months back Linda had contacted us to check our availability in our diary to host their wedding dance and of course we were delighted that we could oblige 😊. With permission to share, here is what Linda had to say today:

"A massive thank you to all of you for your help, time and amazing hospitality. You were all incredible from initial messages to our consultation meeting at the venue to the pre-set up the night before to the actual night itself. You all honestly went above & beyond. We had such a fantastic night. Thank you to everyone"

We are so grateful to Linda for her very kind words & thank all of our staff in helping to deliver another successful event 😊.

It really was an absolute privilege to host Dennis & Janice Pike 25th Wedding Anniversary & Renewal of their vows ceremony last night 😃. It was such a fantastic evening filled with love & fun & we really do hope all the guests enjoyed themselves 💃🕺.

The ceremony was conducted by the lovely Reverend Calum Macmillan from Rosskeen Free Church. You can also catch Calum at the Capstone Centre on Alness High Street on Sunday nights.

The scrumptious buffet was provided by Bakes by Beattie Now this really was some buffet with a whole array of options for people & the food was super tasty.

The entertainment was provided by non other than the fabulous Peter Annal from Party Pete Entertainments Peter is one of the best in the business because he has the ability to read the room & work out what the audience wants to keep them dancing & entertained all night 🎧

Lastly but by no means least thank you to our exceptional bar staff & security staff 😃. You work so hard on every event & we hope you know how appreciated you are by everyone 🙂.
