Looking to lose 4-12 lbs in the next eight weeks?

Here's how:

1. Grill, air fry, bake, or boil, rather than cook in fats.

2. Season with spices, rather than sauces.

3. Build each meal around a lean protein (white fish, chicken or turkey breast, tuna, prawns, egg whites, etc.).

4. Add food volume (cucumber, lettuce, peppers watermelon. berries, etc.).

5. Have a glass of water with each meal.

6. Stick to the same meals in the day and give yourself flexibility and variety in the evening.

7. Stop drinking alcohol.

8. Add 60 mins of cardio to your week; split over however many sessions you want.

9. Three or four strength training sessions per week.

10. No days under 8,000 steps.

When you're dieting, it can be a challenge to still hit your protein target whilst on lower calories.

This is when you need to be more strategic with your food choices and target sources of lean protein more often.

How do you know what a good lean protein is?

A good rule of thumb is to look for foods that provide 10 grams of protein or more per 100 calories (sorry, but peanut butter is not a good source of lean protein!).

This ensures you're getting a good 'bang for your buck' protein without blowing your calorie budget.

Here is a list of sources of lean protein for future reference.

Whether you eat meat, or whether you're pescatarian, vegetarian, or vegan, I've got you covered!
