Erika here! I’ve been traveling and making the most of my pregnancy, happily going about being who I am to the shock of many.
And Keriann, well, she was dealing with the life stuff that comes up when we least expect it and never want it to.

It doesn’t matter if you’re starting a business for the 1st time as an empty nester or are simply tired of the corporate career you’ve had for so long and want to do something completely different that actually brings you joy.

Having vision doesn’t just equate to work either…

Maybe it’s going back to school, writing that book you’ve dreamt about, taking the trip you always talk yourself out of because you’re afraid or feel selfish spending the money.

So that’s the question, what’s your vision? What is it that you want to birth into the world? There may be other people doing what you want to do but your life experiences and how you do it is unique to you and you alone.

This was huge for me because I’d been giving my time and energy to everyone and everything else for so long I no longer knew what my dreams were anymore. When I began discovering them again I felt lost and unsure how to make them a reality. I was holding onto guilt that I needed to be productive in a way society tells me is acceptable and it was making me miserable…does this sound familiar? My purpose is becoming clearer and clearer as I go through these uncomfortable sticky patches and open myself up to possibilities. I never thought I would find a group of women who willingly support and love me for who I am. This struggle isn’t over but I’ve taken this moment of clarity and created a new way of being true to myself each day. Feeling the pull yourself? Here are some journal prompts if you’d like to do a little exploration yourself.What are you not doing that you know, in your heart, will bring you joy, contentment, a sense of purpose…
Do you know what your purpose is? Do you want to?What are you passionate about? What lights you up just thinking about it?
What is your true work in this life - this does not need to be your job. *It’s okay if you’re not sure, this is about exploring possibilities.
Remember you can’t get this wrong. Simply plant the seed and wait….I know I hate waiting too ;)

When you have an “AHA” moment, what happens? Do you write it down, talk with someone you trust and then feel embarrassed, promptly talk yourself out of it?…

Do you ‘forget’ about it in a few days ‘cause it’s too scary, too hard?
Our tip is get a journal and get writing girl! Take action if that’s the next right next step or save it for when it’s time. These are nudges from your inner self, your intuition, pointing you in the direction of your purpose and passion.
Is it a new business idea, a trip you want to take, a book or article you want to write, an idea that you’re not quite sure of where it’s going but it feels exciting?
This is why Erika and I started In Her Element. A space for women to get the support they need to make their dreams a reality. To be with like hearted women who want more from life, want to create a legacy, to bring your gifts into the light for other women to see, to be a guiding light in your own special way. .

After experiencing the health and wellness world from both sides as client and practitioner, Erika realized “I could no longer participate in the perpetuation of industries that profited from making women feel worse about themselves and their bodies while completely ignoring them at the same time. I am tired of seeing women be pulled further and further from their own knowing and truth that resides in their bodies.”

So she created BodyStories, a place for women to be able to feel freedom with their bodies. To help them connect to themselves with tools we already use in our daily life- movement.
