Dunblane Soccer Club Athletic vs Wasp Black

Another solid team performance by the boys today, showed great teamwork, fight and really started using what they’re learning in training, a scary last few minutes with Dunblane grabbing a couple of goals back but the boys fought hard to grind out their performance 💪
Five boys getting on the score sheet today:
Harrison ⚽️⚽️ Mickey Buns
Campbell ⚽️ Prestige Plumbing Scotland
Noah ⚽️
Rhys ⚽️
Elyes ⚽️

Today’s player of the match is Rhys ⭐ not only just grabbing a goal but battling and winning almost every ball to help his teammates! Great performance from start to finish 👏

Well done boys, enjoy the break 🐝⚽️

Wasp Gold V Easterhouse East End 2💥💥💥💥💥💥🐝

Another brilliant performance from the boys today with a our first official clean sheet of the season 🙌🏻

The team mentality was probably my favourite part today. Towards the end we decided to give the defenders a chance up front and see if we could get them on the scoresheet. The strikers and midfielders happily dropped into defence and were genuinely trying to help their teammates get their goals. Unfortunately we couldn’t quite get one for them, but they definitely enjoyed their chance playing further forward!

For me, that says a lot about this group at the moment. They’re playing for each other and enjoying seeing their teammates do well. 👏🏻

A very well deserved Man of the Match for Taylor 🏆 Brilliant performance from him today.

Really happy and proud of the boys. 7 out of 7 for this playing period. And finally that clean sheet! 💪🏻

That’s us into the October break, we will be back to normal from Monday 12th October, hopefully ready to carry this form into the second half of the season.

Enjoy the break players and coaches!🐝

Dunblane v Wasp Gold 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥 🐝

Another brilliant game today and always a challenge for us against Dunblane.

We found ourselves down in the first half, but the boys dug in, kept going and then completely took over in the second half. It was brilliant to watch and a proper team effort again. Really proud of the fight and togetherness they showed today. 💪🏻

Cooper the game changer, picked up Man of the Match today and thoroughly deserved it.
He started on the wing, but Dunblane had a really quick winger causing us problems, so we dropped Cooper into defence to deal with him. He completely neutralised the threat and from there we really started to take control of the game. Brilliant performance from him. 👏🏻🏆

A huge congratulations to Cameron O'Donnell on being named the Sport Markings Scotland Man of the Match after an outstanding display in last night's clash against Hibernian B Team.

Galaxy 2015 Reds vs Wasp Black

Despite the wild weather today, the boys put in a brilliant performance from start to finish! ⚽️🐝

We found ourselves behind early on after an unlucky deflection, but the boys showed great character to get back into the game with Kolle grabbing the equaliser.

Things got even more difficult when we went behind again after a controversial decision to retake a penalty, despite Niall pulling off a fantastic save the first time. The boys didn’t let their heads drop though, and the man who simply cannot stop scoring, Harrison, popped up with another equaliser just before half time.

Into the second half and the boys came flying out the traps, creating chance after chance before Harrison found the back of the net again to complete his brace! 🔥

The icing on the cake came from Rhys, who produced an absolute beauty of a strike from just outside the box to round off a fantastic team performance. 👏

Goals:
Kolle ⚽️
Harrison Mickey Buns⚽️ ⚽️
Rhys ⚽️

🏆 Player of the Match: Noah ⭐

A tireless performance from Noah today. He covered every blade of grass, competed for every ball and never stopped battling for the team. Absolutely brilliant shift! 💪

A fantastic performance from all the boys in some seriously wild conditions. Plenty of character, teamwork and quality on show today. 🐝⚽️
