McGregor Stonelifting Games 2027

A reminder of the dates 📅

A few points 👉

I will start opening event pages for entry at the start of November

Booking for places will revert back to the old way of my paypal or bank account, not via www.scottishstonesofstrength.co.uk

Scotlands Strongest Stonelifter will be a 2 day 8 event comp at the Bruce festival and will incur a higher than normal entry fee ( two tees etc )

Ok so the owners of the rhynd were unhappy with a few things at the last comp in particular and an air bike was broken at the previous comp 😳 so there will be some changes as we do not want to loose the venue as I will not be searching for another. No rhynd no Games
1. Any equipment of the rhynd is out of bounds
2. Grip j**z and liquid chalk will be banned from the comps . Powder only
3. I ask at every comp but please can you help us by putting rubbish away in the bins provided and not leaving it lying around or hiding it lol
4. Can you notify us of any damage, issues or bins needing emptied
5. After each comp we will have to stay behind to clean the place thoroughly as its given to us immaculately and from now on we will ensure it is returned that way. I will take responsibility for standards slipping . Any help will be appreciated 👏.

We are looking for help with sponsorship for next season whether its through prizes or money towards prizes so please get in touch 🙏 . We have the women's trophies covered with thanks the the incredible work of and the fab ladies but we would really appreciate some help with the males trophies as our largest expense is the trophy bill 🏆 please 👀 🤔

The prep work starts soon

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the games 🥰

McGregor Stonelifting Games 2027

Me and Gail are gobsmacked at this

Wendy Woo has been hard at work fundraising for next years ladies trophies 🏆 ( we need 16 minimum )

And the ladies have showed amazing support and surpassed her goal ❤️

Running comps is expensive and costs rise every year so this is a massive help to us as trophies are our biggest expense

Next year will be the biggest yet

We cannot thank you enough ladies 🙏

Blown away
