Well into the year, but we’re not done yet. There are still two halves to go - and they couldn’t be more different.

First up, we head to the incredible Iron Keep at Duncarron Medieval Village for the Knights Quest Half Marathon on 5 September. This might just be Scotland’s most unique running event - a half marathon set inside a living medieval fort, complete with atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else.

Then we close out our season with the return of the Aberfoyle Half on 10 October, rounding off the year for Outsider Events in one of our favourite places to run.

Two halves. Two totally different adventures. Let’s finish strong.

Aberfoyle Trail Festival... 🏃‍♀️ 🍂

We've been quiet on the 4th edition of our Aberfoyle Trail Festival, with so many of our other events taking place.

That said, quietly in the background, it's been amazing to see so many of you sign up already with 50% spaces already gone for the half marathon and a load of sign ups for the ultra.

This is one of our favourite events to work on, in a truly stunning corner of Scotland where the trees begin their full autumnal orange bloom.

If you want an end of season trail challenge, this could be just the one for you!
