🌈 ABERFOYLE TRAIL RUNNING FESTIVAL - WHAT A DAY!

A MASSIVE congratulations to all our incredible runners who took on the testing conditions yesterday!

Rain, wind, sunshine… and even a rainbow! We really did get a bit of everything, but what a stunning location for a day out on the trails!

A HUGE thank you to all our amazing event partners and fantastic team of volunteers who helped make it all happen. We couldn't do it without you!

And, of course, a special shoutout to Cobleland Campsite for hosting us in such a beautiful setting!

And just like that… the Outsider Events 2026 season is a wrap! 🎉

What a year it's been! A massive thank you to everyone who has run, supported, volunteered and been part of our events this season. You've made it one to remember!

Keep your eyes peeled for some exciting announcements about 2027… we've got plenty to look forward to, and we can't wait to share what's coming!

But first… some well-earned rest!

The trails are calling, and we can’t wait to see you tomorrow! Time to get your kit ready, enjoy the carb-loading and get a good night’s sleep. 🍝💤

Fancy a little post-trail relaxation? We’ll have a sauna and river dip right at event HQ - ideal for unwinding after a testing day on the trails. The river is right next to HQ, and you can book on the day. Bring your swim trunks and a towel! 🔥💦

BORDER.200 is back!

We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be running the BORDER.200 again on 11 September 2027 - this time as a one-day, standalone gravel challenge.

Expect a testing 200km ride through some of the finest gravel the Scottish Borders has to offer. Setting off from Scotland’s heart of cycling - The Tweed Valley. It’s a big day in the saddle, with plenty of miles to savour and a finish line you’ll have earned.

Your entry includes:

• Race timing and live tracking
• Free camping
• A fully waymarked course
• A finisher’s memento
• Ride waves based on your estimated finish time

Entries go live on 1 October at 17:00 - pre-register is now live.

Spaces are limited, and you can save £15 on your ride entry during our two-week early bird pricing period. Be quick if you want to secure your spot!
