£20 adults & £10 under 16’s.

It promises to be a fantastic afternoon of our boxers showcasing their talent and everyone is working so hard in the gym so please come down and show your support!

Hi all,

Just to note that tomorrows medicals in the gym are now going to be held next week (5th September, 8am).

Also we will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday opening as usual from Tuesday onwards.

ALFRETON ABC’S FIRST BOXING SHOW!

On Saturday 7th November we’re putting on our first amateur boxing show at North Wingfield Miners Welfare.

Expect plenty of proper 50/50 bouts and quality amateur boxing.

Nobody gets paid in amateur boxing — not the boxers, coaches or judges — people do it because they love the sport.

And some of these boxers have huge ambitions.

For £20 adults / £10 under-16s, you could be watching a future national champion, Olympian or world champion right at the start of their journey.

We’re also looking for bout sponsors and show sponsors. If you’re a local business and would like to support a fully not-for-profit boxing club, please drop us a message.

Due to the temperatures due tomorrow we’ve made the decision early to remain closed as the gym is already like a sauna and safety of members is always our priority,

Busy week finished in the gym.

Good numbers in all sessions, fantastic sparring with the guys from Ashfield School of Boxing, Medicals done & a real focus on fitness performance as we ramp up pre season training.

We’re delighted to be able to confirm our first home show will be in the afternoon of 7th November at North Wingfield and full details will be given in due course but the hard work has already started 🥊 🥊

As we enter the clubs off season there’s plenty of work going on behind the scenes to maintain and deliver on our initial 3 year plan to open up opportunities to local talent, develop skills, and produce quality boxers from the ground up.

From the skills squad upwards to our championship boxers we’re proud of the progress made and look forward to our busiest season yet.

As a club we are entirely self funded with everything coming from significant input from the coaching team & our fantastic support base of friends & parents.

Before approaching the community for sponsorship & the support to take us to the next level we have always maintained that we would look to establish the club and make it something we were proud to showcase and we’re pleased to say we feel we’re there.

With a busy pre season, full classes, a packed sparring schedule & the fantastic news our inaugural home show is booked for November (details to follow 👀👀) it’s a fantastic time for any local businesses to get involved and work with us to continue to build a club the community can be proud off.

We have a host of sponsorship opportunities available so please like & share and anyone interested in coming on board drop us a message we’d love to hear from you 🥊🥊

Due to the high temperatures today we will be ending our 7pm sessions early at 8.00pm. Please come dressed appropriately and bring a drink.
