Hi all, firstly fantastic effort to everyone who’s trained so far this week in what has been really difficult conditions, especially last night when it was ridiculously hot.

With that in mind and with the forecast still extreme we are going to close tomorrow and reopen Saturday morning as usual.

We’ve not had to close before but if tomorrow is anything like last night members welfare will always be the priority

Anyone who has paid for the week will be able to roll the payment onto next week no issues.

Due to the high temperatures this week we will be ending our 7pm sessions early at 8.00pm. Please come dressed appropriately and bring a drink.
Stay well hydrated throughout the day to get the best from your training session.

With the start of June we reach the end of our second season since opening back in September 2024.

We’ve had our busiest year yet boxing in 6 different regions at all levels winning as many bouts as we’ve learnt from.

We’ve had boxers representing us in junior & youth championships at one end of the development scale and pushed the skills squad to bout ready for next season at the other.

Huge thanks to everyone who has supported us throughout the season, the parents & friends who’ve always turned out home & away.

Thanks to the boxers for their hard work & total dedication to training & pushing forwards.

Thanks to the clubs throughout the region & beyond who have worked with us in sparring & matching and of course thanks to our coaching team for the 100’s of hours given up to support our talented squad in the gym, at sparring & in the corner at shows.

2026/27 is already shaping up to be a fantastic season so lookout for updates and exciting news in the next few weeks.

Alfreton Abc, as we always say, built in the community, by the community, for the community 🥊🥊

Hi everyone,

Please make sure you are all hydrated and bring plenty of water to training tonight, the gym is exceptionally warm.

With that in mind the registered boxers session will finish at 8pm tonight as an hour in this heat is more than enough.
