Amber Valley Fitness centre is a friendly gym in Alfreton, perfect for all your training needs. Our gym has a wide range of Free Weights, Weight Machines and Cardiovascular Equipment. We have fully trained on site instructors and we also offer Specialist Sports Conditioning. We also have a large stock of high quality and top branded training supplements. A message to all members.

At Amber Valley Fitness Centre, the safety, well-being, and safeguarding of our members will always come first. We believe in treating everyone fairly and do not make decisions based on rumours, gossip, or hearsay.

However, if an individual is convicted of a serious criminal offence, and we believe their membership may present a risk to the safety or well-being of our members staff or young people using the gym, we reserve the right to refuse or terminate membership.

As a family-friendly gym with members under the age of sixteen, safeguarding is a responsibility we take extremely seriously. We will never discuss or comment publicly on individual membership decisions.

Please note that the Amber Valley Fitness Centre car park will be closed this Saturday.

We kindly ask all members and visitors to use the car park next door or make alternative parking arrangements where possible. Please allow a little extra time before your session. Thank you for your understanding! 🙏

☀️ Hot Weather Reminder ☀️

With the warmer weather, please make sure you stay hydrated before, during and after your workout. Bring a water bottle, take regular breaks when needed, and listen to your body. 💧🏋️

Remember to take care both inside and outside of the gym — avoid overexertion, wear suitable clothing, and stay safe in the heat. 🌞🧢

With temperatures set to soar across the UK this week, it’s more important than ever to stay cool, stay safe, and stay hydrated! 💧💪

🏃‍♂️ Whether you’re hitting the gym, attending a class, or training outdoors, remember:

✅ Bring a water bottle and sip regularly throughout your workout
✅ Don’t wait until you’re thirsty – hydration starts before you exercise! 💦
✅ Wear light, breathable clothing to help keep your body cool 👕
✅ Listen to your body and take breaks if needed 🧘‍♀️
✅ Refuel after your session with plenty of fluids and nutritious food 🍎🥤

🌞 Outside the gym, make sure you’re:
