⚠️ Arena Hire Cancellation Notice ⚠️
Following the Met Office issuing an Extreme Weather Warning, the first of this level since 2022, when temperatures reached 40.5°C we have made the decision to cancel all arena hire bookings until Friday.
While temperatures are expected to be high, our main concern is the extreme humidity, which is forecast to be even more severe than during the recent May heatwave. These conditions significantly increase the risk of heat stress and overheating in horses, even during light exercise.
The welfare of the horses in our care must always come first, and we cannot responsibly allow horses to be worked in these conditions.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. We will continue to monitor the forecasts and provide updates should conditions improve sooner than expected.
If you have already booked an arena please get in touch and we can find an alternate arrangement.
