The action is now underway as Ockbrook & Borrowash CC 1st XI take on Spondon CC 1st XI in the Derbyshire County Cricket League Premier Cup Final! 🔥

Two of Derbyshire’s top sides are battling it out for silverware on a glorious day at Alfreton Park, with the trophy up for grabs and plenty of quality cricket on show.

If you’re looking for something to do this afternoon, why not head down to the park, grab a drink from the clubhouse and enjoy what promises to be a fantastic contest between two excellent teams. 🍻☀️🏏

The team have progressed all the way through to the Regional League Play-Off Finals Day at the iconic Grace Road, Leicester on Sunday 6th September. 🏆

Another brilliant season from the women, showcasing the talent, commitment and hard work that continues to grow throughout our club. 💪

Another brilliant weekend for the club, with two outstanding batting performances from the 2nd XI.

⭐ BEN RUDKIN — 90 RUNS
A superb innings against Swanwick Hall, anchoring the 2nd XI to an impressive 109-run victory.

⭐ LUKE NEWTON — 71 RUNS*
A brilliant unbeaten knock, helping Alfreton post a huge 274/5 and secure another convincing win.

Alfreton won by 7 wickets.

A brilliant bowling display restricted Mickleover to 110, before Tom New (49) and Joe New (23) guided ACC home with plenty to spare.

🏏 2nd XI vs Swanwick Hall CC
ACC 274/5 | Swanwick Hall 165/9
Alfreton won by 109 runs.

A dominant performance from the 2nd XI, with Ben Rudkin (90) and Luke Newton (71)* leading the way with the bat before the bowlers wrapped up a comprehensive victory.

The fixture was conceded by Staveley Welfare, so no game was played.

Kirkby Portland won by 57 runs.

A match-winning contribution from Ryan as the 3rd XI secured a winning draw over Clowne Town.

A maiden senior five-wicket haul from George in the Sunday 1st XI’s 55-run win over Papplewick & Linby. Outstanding bowling.
