The team has been busy changing the 50 bird Sporting targets which are brilliant and very shootable and ready to go .
Grass cutting and maintenance continues especially to the entrance and access road as well as the continuing improvements to the S***t.

As usual the Birchwood team have been busy cutting grass and tweaking targets and generally tidying up.
New
We have erected a scaffolding gantry and will be testing it out on our next VIP shoot . This will give us a chance at Birchwood to practice shooting down on a bird as the gantry is quite high behind the high bank at the S***t. The view from the gantry of the surrounding countryside is stunning, so something different to look out for in the future.
It took a lot of work to organise and I am sure it will be worth all the effort .A big thank you to Keith McDonagh and all who helped to make it happen.
All our normal disciplines will be available to shoot this Saturday including

All targets changed at Birchwood.

Our next shoot is this

The Birchwood Team have been busy changing all the 50bird Sporting targets as is normal after every fourth shoot and they are belters , targets for every level of shooter.
The targets on the two Sportrap layouts and the Compak layout have also been all changed and are all shootable and challenging
and ready to go.
A special thank you to Keith McDonagh for his time and target setting expertise in setting up the new Sportrap and Compak layouts.
With all the targets changed apart from the DTL and S***t this Saturday will be a great days shooting .
All the grass has been cut and looks tidy with parking areas clearly marked and close to the main shooting areas.
If you have not had the Birchwood experience yet Saturday would be a good day. New shooters remember to take your shotgun certificate, need to see it before you shoot .What will be available to shoot

It has been a busy past few weeks at Birchwood what with a visit from Mark Winser one of best shots in the Uk . Mark had a few days coaching some of the Birchwood regulars who wanted to bring their shooting to another level. All who attended were greatly impressed and benefited greatly from his expertise.
All the Sporting targets have been changed and are amazing Derek has certainly made a brilliant job of the changes and I can’t wait to shoot them on Saturday.
The maintenance programme continues and Ian has been busy keeping the ground looking so good cutting the grass and cutting back the vegetation.
As normal all our disciplines will be available to shoot.
