Scottish RC Event Series 2024

If you can’t remember the last time your horse saw a physio, then it was too long ago!

The real benefits from physiotherapy come from consistent regular appointments. Not only does this allow your physio to really get to know your horse, but it allows them more time to get to the root cause of a problem.

As a physiotherapist I am always mindful to not push your horse too far! I am always led by your horse and their reaction, so this means that if your horse is too uncomfortable I will move on. It’s super important that it is a positive experience for them. It’s also really important that I don’t cause damage whilst undoing it, so sometimes it can take a few visits for me to make a visible difference.

If you haven’t been able to get to the bottom of an issue and you can’t remember when your horse last saw a physio, this is your sign to get booked in!

DM me the word PHYSIO to see how I can help you.

Further to the update we issued jointly with BEVA - The British Equine Veterinary Association and the British Horseracing Authority on 17 August, it has been confirmed there are distribution problems with doses of equine influenza vaccination.

Our latest update provides further information on what this means for the UK's equine population, including how vaccination recommendations have been temporarily adjusted for leisure and competition horses.
