MY WHY 💕🤠

Today we had the absolute privilege of attending Rebecca Rocks at Robin House, where we got to teach some of the children and their parents a little bit of line dancing, as well as putting on a wee show for them. 🥹💕

And I genuinely don’t even have the words for how proud I am of these girls.

When I started Step With Suzie, I wanted to teach people to line dance… but somewhere along the way it became about so much more than steps, counts and dances.

THIS is what line dancing is all about.

Find your people.
Build your confidence.
Build friendships.
Build your community. ❤️

Then take that community and use it to bring a little bit of happiness to other people.

Watching my girls get up there today, give their time, dance their hearts out and help create some smiles was one of those moments that reminded me exactly why I do this.

I couldn’t be prouder of the little community we’re building at Step With Suzie. What started as line dancing classes has turned into something pretty special. 🥹

Thank you to Rebecca Rocks and Robin House for allowing us to be a small part of such a special day.

And to my girls… you absolutely smashed it. 💕🤠

💕🤠 A LITTLE CLASS UPDATE! 🤠💕

You may have noticed that I’ve made a slight change to the class levels on a Wednesday night.

This is simply down to the natural progression of the classes and gives everyone a little more room to progress at their own pace. 💃

The 6.30 class has naturally been progressing a little further and often gets an extra dance in. I also want to make sure there’s still a comfortable place for brand-new dancers to start, so I’ve restructured the levels slightly:

⭐ 5.30pm | Absolute Beginner
This will remain our Absolute Beginner class, perfect for those completely new to line dancing or anyone who prefers to keep things at this level.

⭐ 6.30pm | Absolute Beginner/Beginner
A step up from 5.30, with some dances carried over from the first class alongside additional Beginner dances.

⭐ 7.30pm | Beginner/High Beginner
For dancers ready for a little more progression and challenge.

If you’ve been coming along to the 5.30 class and feel ready to move up to 6.30, please feel free! Equally, there’s absolutely no pressure to move classes. Come to the level where you feel happiest and most comfortable. 💕

And as always, you’re more than welcome to stay for more than one class!

💷 £5 for one class or £8 for two

One bonus of the restructure is that if you stay for 5.30 AND 6.30, you’ll now get a bit more variety rather than doing exactly the same dances back-to-back. 🙌

Social dates for the rest of 2026.

I am working on provisional list for 2027 and have already provisionally booked next years Christmas venue 🎅🏻🎄

I know I promised you another Glow-Down Night in 2026 but I just can’t fit it in but if there is demand I will put one on in January 2027. Would be Saturday 9th January 2027 so let me know if you fancy another one and if you’d be up for an event like that in January. I’ve also asked on my groups if anyone would be interested in a low key during the day dance on Monday 28th December 2026 - let me know if you’d be interested or comment below
