In May 2023, Emma was diagnosed with hormone-positive Stage 1, Grade 2 breast cancer and discovered she carries the BRCA2 gene.
She faced a lumpectomy, chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and an oophorectomy with incredible courage, believing the worst was behind her.
But nearly three years later, after a routine X-ray and with almost no symptoms other than a persistent cough, she received the devastating news that her cancer had returned as Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, spreading to her clavicle, lung, spine, pelvis and femur.
While incurable, it is treatable, and Emma is now on an international clinical trial, fighting for more precious time with her husband Graham and their two young daughters, Grace and Elsie. Alongside this, she's pursuing additional therapies such as hyperbaric oxygen and red light therapy, which aren't available on the NHS and cost £1,495 every month. Emma is a full-time working mum fighting for her life, and we're asking for your help—if 1,495 people gave just £1, one month's treatment would be covered.
Team Rushmoor Royals Masters are here for you every step of this fight.
