Lake Oeschiensee - been thinking about this place since I was last here in 2024, it’s one of those places you could come a million times and the novelty would never wear off. The photos really don’t do it justice, will be back again for sure, probably more than once 🐮🏔️🇨🇭

i’ve never once gone to the gym because I wanted to look good in a dress

of course i want to look goooood

who doesn’t?

but that’s never been a reason i’ve shown up to anything consistently

maybe unpopular opinion but i think this is what most people get wrong without even realising

it’s easy for me to say i train because i want to, because i enjoy it, because i’m excited to

but if you don’t love exercise you won’t ‘get’ that

but more so…

i go to the gym to clear my head
ride because i know it’ll calm my brain
lift weights to remind myself how strong i am (& that i can get even stronger!!)
because i want my performance to improve
i go to be around people that i know will make me smile
to prove to myself i can commit to what i said i’d commit to
sometimes just cause i know i should prob get out the house
to get out of whatever weird mood i might be in
to find a different perspective on how i’m feeling right now
because i know i’ll feel better afterwards
or often simply because i told myself i would
& i know it’s good for me
& i like how it makes me feel :))))
& i know i’ll definitely be glad i did

it’s never actually been about the dress
or a bikini
or a holiday

yes i want to look good
i want to feel confident
who doesn’t🤷🏻‍♀️

but if your only motivation is how you’ll look on a saturday night, or one holiday

no wonder your motivation disappears

you’re trying to stay consistent all year, for a couple of days??

instead of chasing how you feel every single day

or how your body performs
or how your mind works
or how proud you feel when you do the thing you promised yourself you’d do

when you build something that shows you how capable you are, how strong you are, how you can do the thing that was hard before

it doesn’t consume your mind how you look in the dress

because you’re already happy in yourself🤠

& ironically

that’s usually when you end up looking your best anyway🧑🏻‍🩰

so pweeeease…

start chasing performance !!
start chasing strength !!
start chasing feeling good !!
start chasing keeping promises to yourself !!
start chasing being proud of yourself 🙇🏻‍♀️

i promise… the way you look will link SO much to this 🙆🏻‍♀️

22/07/2026

After feeling pretty crappy & unfit coming back into riding after having a month or so off the bike back in June, decided a couple weeks back to have a proper restructure of things with my nutrition

Emphasis very much on being purposeful with quality of food/ fuelling rather than just cramming in food so I don’t feel dead like I maybe got into a bad habit of doing earlier in the year 👀😶‍🌫️

In just a few weeks am feeling a tonne better with energy both in & out of training, recovery is defo better, &&& power is also finallyyyy returning yay
also dropped around 2kg intern just by cleaning things up, & topped it off by winning my first proper bike race this past week which hopefully shows it’s all working 🤠

With endurance sports you have to eat a tonne of food, but it can sometimes become a blur between eating enough for the sake of just eating enough, and eating quality food at the right times to actually fuel and perform well

Under fuelling training/races will often = high hunger in the 24/48 hours post session, whereas by being better structured with pre, during and post fuelling, this will always help give better recovery, but also help avoid the large hunger spikes after training :)

A lot of people underestimate that nutrition is very much the ONLY way you can create the consistent progress you want, as you will never create an environment that allows for consistent performance without it

You can be training 5/6 days a week 110%, but if your nutrition is inconsistent & you are under fuelling then over compensating with food post sessions > you’re not gonna create consistent performance which is where you’ll see progress

Total daily cals can be used a million times better when spaced purposefully around training & used for quality sources

Even as someone who’s been working with clients on nutrition over 10 years, it can be super easy to let small things creep in that you don’t notice at time yet can make big difference to overall performance & recovery, so it’s always good to occasionally re look at things and restructure if you’re not quite seeing the progress you’re wanting or feel you should be with the effort that you’re putting in :)))

Guildford TCR 🥵🏁

horrific 10/10 type z fun would defo do again

full rookie vibes couldn’t clip in off the line so was dropped out the back of bunch at less than 20 seconds in and spent the whole race chasing back on 😅 then ran out of water 20 mins in & totally overheated + blew up looool

was such a fun circuit & mega cool experience having people cheering from every aspect of the course 🥰

big thanks to everyone who was out supporting and for the videos/pics 🤠🤠🫶🏼

will defo be back next year with more water & hopefully learn to clip in by then 🤣

the last pic really shows end of race feels🥲🐚🗑️
