What a weekend for FVC at the BVA Plate 2026 🏐🔥
From juniors to women’s and mixed teams, it was a brilliant showcase of how far the club has come this season. The BVA Plate brought together teams from across the Berkshire Volleyball Association in a fast-paced round robin tournament format across juniors, mixed, women’s and men’s categories.
💥 Our results:
• 🥈 Sirens reached the Women’s Final in their debut season, losing only to a very strong Maidenhead side featuring multiple NVL players. An incredible achievement — especially with several of our own juniors stepping up and competing so confidently.
• 🏆 Our Junior Elite team bounced back from last year’s defeat to beat Reading and lift the BVA title.
• 🥈 Our Junior Intermediates finished as close runners-up to Basingstoke after a huge day of learning and growth.
• 🐾 Panthers finished 4th out of 10 teams in the Mixed competition after a strong day against some very competitive opposition.
Beyond the results, what made the weekend special was seeing every part of the club represented — juniors, experienced players, debut players, volunteers, referees, coaches and supporters all contributing to the atmosphere and energy of the event ❤️
A fantastic way to close the junior season and another reminder of how much this club continues to grow, compete and support each other every step of the way.
