A new era begins with pre-season victory!

The boys were back at Bourley Road this morning for the very first time representing Rushmoor Saints FC as their newly formed men’s team, as we hosted Ash Vale Athletic.

We began the match with a strong start, creating multiple chances within the opening 20 minutes, but just failed to find the finish.

However, despite the strong start, we were caught on the counter attack, falling 0-1 behind. After a tactical reshuffle, the team regained their composure and kept pushing, but entered the interval trailing.

The second half remained fairly even, but with 10 minutes remaining, another reshuffle was made in search of a breakthrough. As the game appeared to be heading for a harsh loss, the players refused to give up and with just two minutes left, Scott Temple played a perfectly timed through ball to Max Morgan, who calmly finished to equalise.

Just when it seemed the match would end level, Adam Webb displayed excellent strength to hold the ball up, then found the gap to play a precise pass to Ben Harper, who made no mistake in firing home a clinical finish to seal a dramatic late victory.

A fantastic display of resilience from the boys, as they fought back to claim the win and continue their push forward.

We’d like to thank Ash Vale Athletic for today’s game, and wish them all the very best for the upcoming season.

Out with the old, in with the new!

After five years of fun, challenges, success and at times agony.. we are pleased to announce that a deal has been reached and agreed to take over, what was formerly known as Aldershot Supporters Trust FC, into Rushmoor Saints FC, as our newly formed Men’s Team for the 2025/2026 season and beyond!

We’re excited by the new challenge of bringing a men’s team back into the club, as we look ahead to our 50th anniversary this year.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Tommy Anderson and Neil McBride for their work in ensuring a smooth transition, as well as the Rushmoor Saints Committee for their continued support.

The new chapter begins now! We are inviting all interested players to contact us via message, or the email address shown on the advert, ahead of Pre Season Training commencing this coming Thursday 19th June (7pm) at Bourley Road.

As a Club, based right in the heart of the Community, we were proud to pay our respects in the build up to, and on Remembrance Sunday, as both management and players wore the Poppy armband for the duration of Sunday’s match, as well as observing a minutes silence prior to kick off.

We will remember them. ❤️
