🏁 Race Report 🏁

📍 Ipswich (Foxhall Stadium)
🗓️ 3rd to 5th July 2026
🏁 World Championship (Spedeweekend)
☀️ Sunny

We had 3 practise runs on the Friday first, really struggled with any pace in the car and slightly confused by it

Saturday Racing -
Heat 1: Started 14th / Finished 10th

Decent start in heat 1, moved forward slowly but struggled to make much more progress.

Heat 2: Started 12th / DNF

Car was going sensibly until we had multiple restarts, getting knocked back on first restart and on 2nd restart, we got hit so hard from behind we hit the car in front and damaged wheel, giving us a puncture.

Heat 3: Started 30th / Finished 19th

Decent start, making places up early on, annoyingly our rear grid slot and had no yellow flags at all, so made it harder to make much progress, but got inside the top 20 at finish

World Championship: Started 21st / Finished 7th

Had a very good start making places up early on, got towards top 15 by first yellow flag restart, made more places up on restart getting towards top 10 by 2nd yellow flag of race, by this point we were 9th and drove home to 7th across the line, was very happy with our speed in this, matching pace of front runners in last 10 to 15 laps.

Sunday -
All comers race: Started 10th / Finished 6th
Ok start getting towards the top 6 early on, then a yellow flag came out, got knocked out of way and dropped back, then another yellow came out, on the yellow we started safe on inside but car got spun in front of us, giving us nowhere to go, got put across infield, manage to carry on but with a lot of damage, managed to 6th by finish after a chaotic race

🏁 June Race Reports 🏁

Hendesford Hills Raceway - 14/06/26

Heat 1: started 16th / Finished 11th

Decent start in reds, got up to 6th with 5 laps to go and yellow came out, got caught up in incident which put us last and came home 11th

Heat 2: Started 19th / Finished 8th

Decent pace in the car from the reds, slowly picked cars off in front to finish 8th

Final: Started 16th / Finished 8th

Sensible start from middle of reds, got moved out of way and dropped towards back of reds, started moving forward again but struggled a little with straight line speed, but managed to finish inside points

Mildenhall Stadium - 21/06/26

Heat 1 - started 9th / Finished 2nd

Decent first race, showing car was fast on shale again, getting up to 2nd by end

Heat 2 - Started 10th / 1st 🥇

Had a great start early on, picking cars off in front, got to the lead just before half way and just pulled away from the field, with nearly a half lap lead by the end!

Final - Started 9th / Finished 4th

Unfortunately for the final the track didn’t get watered so the car wasn’t suited to the track, but disappointing to not get told before hand, we struggled with the car, still managed a 4th and a very good haul of points

🗓️ 25/05/26 (bank holiday Monday)
🏁 English Championship 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
☁️ sunny (very hot)

Heat 1: Started 20th / Finished 11th

Decent start in heat 1, moved forward slowly but struggled to make much progress.

Heat 2: Started 6th / Finished 3rd

Decent start got us into p4 early on, got into p3 and then chasing top 2, got close towards the end but not enough laps left

Final: Started 6th / Finished 6th

Closed grid for the final, had an ok start slotting in early, struggled a little with pace, then a restart came out and on start got smashed out the way and fell down to 12th, got back up to 6th by finish and car going fairly well

Car showed good pace but a little to work on for our next meeting.

📍 Northampton Shaleway
🗓️ 16/05/26
🏁 Midland Championship
☁️ Wet to dry

Heat 1: Started 14th / Finished 10th

Meeting was looking to be dry before a tiny bit of rain before 1st heat, had 5 laps practise before start of heat, then heavens opened as we lined up to start, conditions were near on undrive able, had an excursion on the loose wet mud and got stuck, rejoined and managed to get grips of conditions to come back to 10th

Heat 2: Started 4th / Finished 3rd

2nd heat the conditions were a little better but not loads, bit more manageable, sensible start and overtook one car to come home 3rd

Final: Started 7th / Finished 3rd 🏆 (Fastest lap)

Final we started 2nd pack, had a decent start catching the pack in front, picked cars off one by one, car was on rails and moving forward fast, got up to 3rd on last lap.

Car showed good pace when conditions were right and not wet.

April/May Race Reports!!

📍 Hendesford Hills Raceway

Heat 1: Started 16th / Finished 5th

Moving up to the reds for this meeting, starting outside middle of the pack, decent start and slowly making progress forward into the top 10 in early stages, finishing in top 5.

Heat 2: Started 15th / Finished 10th

Sensible start getting towards front of reds, then got moved out of the way and falling towards back of pack, struggled with handling which hampered our progress, got ourselves just inside top 10 by finish

Final: Started 15th / Finished 8th

Qualified inside 2nd row of reds, decent start getting towards front of reds, slow progress and car slightly improved from heat 2, got inside top 10 by half way mark, struggled to make more progress then that and finished P8

Not a bad meeting for our first meeting in a while in the reds, some improvements to be made to car for the next meeting

🏁 Southern Championship
⛅️ cloudy/sunny
📍 Arlington Stadium

Heat 1: Started 16th / Finished 11th

Incarace draw, meaning mixed grid and then reverse for 2nd heat.
Had an ok start but struggled with car and to make much progress to come home 11th

Heat 2: Started P4 / Finished P3

Decent start getting to P3 early on, managed to pull away from pack, but struggled with brakes from half way point so couldn’t make any more progress and just managed the car to bring it home

Final: Started P7 / Finished P4

Decent start and opening laps, sorted brakes out after heat 2 and the car was fantastic, making progress in first half of race into top 5, in last 5 laps we managed to get to p4 and chasing down top 3, very close to a podium but not enough laps left.

Decent meeting at our local track, car was going well in final and some improvements made to the car.

📍 Yarmouth Stadium

Heat 1: Started 11th / Finished P2 Fastest lap 💨

Decent start slotting into middle of red grade early on, couldn’t move much further forwards and picked a few cars off in front, finished P6 on road but must of been few docking in front to jump us up to P2.

Heat 2: Started P9 / Finished P7

A ok start getting a few places early on but started having trouble with front brakes and pedal going long, managed most of the race to come home P7

Final: Started P5 / Finished 8th

Attempted a fix for brakes for final, qualified pole for reds after the heats, start was good and we pulled away a little from reds, but then brakes went again and we dropped to back of pack, managed the car and adapted to get back to 8th at finish to score some points.

Not an awful meeting, for our 2nd time here, showed car had the pace but had trouble with brakes near enough all meeting, we know what it is to fix for next meeting.

Our next meeting is at Northampton shaleway on 16/05/26

📍 Foxhall Stadium (Ipswich)

🏁 Hoosier Series Round 2
🌦️ Damp/Dry

Heat 1: Started 11th / Finished 1st (Docked to 3rd) Fastest Lap 💨

Had a good start getting to front of blues, struggled in first 1/3 of race but once the car come on it was good, numerous crashes with restarts we got into the lead and pulled away from the pack to cross the line approx 1/4 of a lap ahead of the rest in 1st

Heat 2: Started 14th / Finished 2nd

Decent start getting towards the front of the blue and getting our way past a few cars, struggled a little with car in this race but was good enough to cross the line in 2nd

Final: Started 7th / Finished 1st 🏆

Qualified pole of blue grade, had a very good start getting away from the blues and onto the yellows, yellow flag came out and that put us to p4 on restart, had a very good start getting into p2, 2 laps later made a move into turn 1 for the lead and then we got our heads down and built a very big gap, by the end we had over a 1/4 lap lead.

One of our best meetings we’ve ever had in 2.0’s and our first final win too, proves all the hard work and time we put into, pays off.

Our next meeting is at hendesford raceway in Cannock with a start time of 1pm.

📍 Rushmore Arena (Aldershot)

🏁 John Butler Trophy
☁️ Overcast

Heat 1: Started 15th / Finished 3rd

Had a very good start from middle of blue grade, up to 11th after opening few laps, slowly picking cars off in front of us, by half way stage we were up to 6th, in last few laps got up to 3rd and were battling for 2nd but not enough laps left to get past.

Heat 2: Started 14th / Finished 4th

Sensible start in heat 2 with gaining a couple of place, few crashes in front we got caught up in going to near back of field on restart, slowly made our way forward to back inside top 10, another crash caused another restart, made some places up on restart ending up with a 4th finish, was fairly happy with this after a chaotic race.

Final: Started 9th / Finished 19th

Qualified pole of blue grade, good start got us away from the pack and onto the yellows, picked these off and by half way we were into 3rd, we was stuck behind a car and also suffering with some understeer, lost a couple of places trying the outside line, we got back to 5th until we was hit from behind and then put into a spin, manage to rejoin but only finished 19th

Car showed some good speed in the dry after a lot of changes over the winter, was a good day until the final, but we move to the next one

Our next meeting is 28th march at Ipswich (foxhall stadium) start time of 6pm for round 2 of the Hoosier series
