Cameron McClendon, better known as "Big Cam", joins the squad for another season.

An absolute handful in the number 10 role, Cam is just as happy tracking back and putting in the hard yards as he is driving forward and causing problems in the final third.

Strong, physical, and never afraid to put his weight about, he's the type of player every opponent hates coming up against.

We're delighted to have Big Cam back in the ABGFC colours for another campaign.

We’re proud to announce that Tim Stevens is officially becoming team player coach for the upcoming season! 🔴🔵

A familiar face to many, Tim has been part of our journey from DAY ONE as a player and a true OG of the club 💪

Alongside playing, Tim has been building an incredible youth academy through Project 1V1 Football, helping develop young players’ confidence, quality, and ability in 1v1 situations ⚽🔥

Now he brings that passion, energy, and knowledge into a coaching role with us, helping make sessions more structured, competitive, enjoyable, and focused on developing players into starters.

Respected by the squad and driven to improve the team every single week, we’re excited to have him stepping into this role 🙌

A game that wasn’t just a semi-final, it was 1st vs 2nd in the league, and we proved exactly why we deserve to be in the final and why we should be top of the league.

All 16 ABGFC semi-finalists put in a performance full of passion, grit, and desire. Every player gave absolutely everything, playing with heart and soul from the first whistle to the last.

15' – A Brain ⚽️ (Assist: E Brain 🤝)
A quick press from N Pitt forced play backwards. A North Town defender thought he had time on the ball, but E Brain stormed in, won it off the last man, A Brain drove forward E Brain slots it through for A Brain to calmly slot it past the keeper.

ABGFC 1 – 0 North Town Athletic

25' – R Monteiro ⚽️ (Assist: E Brain 🤝)
Winning possession, a quick pass found E Brain who held the ball up well. Spotting Monteiro’s run, he slipped a perfect pass through and Monteiro chipped the keeper to double the lead.

34' – C McClendon ⚽️ (Assist: C Stickland 🤝)
A cleared corner fell to Stickland on the right wing. After some quick footwork and beating his defender, he whipped in a cross that found McClendon in the six-yard box who finished confidently.

Half-Time: ABGFC 3 – 0 North Town Athletic

North Town came out strong and managed to pull two goals back.

ABGFC 3 – 2 North Town Athletic

70' – A Brain ⚽️ (Assist: T Omondi 🤝)
A rugby-style tackle on Omondi won us a free kick near the right corner. Omondi delivered a great ball into the box and A Brain attacked the front post with a powerful header to restore the two-goal lead.

ABGFC 4 – 2 North Town Athletic

North Town weren’t done yet and pulled another one back late to make it tense.

ABGFC 4 – 3 North Town Athletic

Shortly after their third, E Brain’s relentless pressing forced a mistake from the North Town defender. His first shot was saved but spilled by the keeper, and he reacted quickest — taking it across the box and finishing between two defenders to finally put the game to bed.
