So, after what seems like a long lay off, it's a return to the ovals for Danny and Connor. And some family time for Jake, Hayley and Rosie on a beach in Alcudia.
Danny, currently in 9th, in the national points has a busy weekend in Skegness, with the Rebel, racing on both the Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.
Whilst Connor, currently 13th, returns to Hednesford Bank Holiday Monday, with the Legend, having served his 3 meeting introduction from the rear of the grid. Now it's time for him to take his graded grid position, jumping up the standings to start as a yellow grade.

Up early this morning for the first of a 2 header Bank Holiday race weekend.
UK Oval legends
Connor #123 is at Aldershot Raceway this afternoon for his last ‘off the back’ novice meeting.
Rebel Racing
Then Monday Jake #14 and Danny #905 are racing at Buxton. Jake having virtually rebuilt his race car after Skegness, and Danny hoping to continue his climb up the standings.

Not the way Jakes weekend was meant to finish. After his strongest meeting to date, to be caught up in 'a grand national payback' was to say the least upsetting and expensive !

After a mixed bag of results at Buxton, Jake and Danny will be competing at Skegness on Sunday. With 35 rebels booked in to race, this should be a lively meeting, hopefully with little damage and a kick start for both of their 2026 seasons.

Well, a mixed day of Racing / non Racing.
Jake and Danny traveled down to the Mendips only for the meeting to be abandoned during practice due to the fog being so thick it was too dangerous to continue. Very disappointing after the huge effort from both drivers to be ready and have their cars immaculately turned out.
At Hednesford with Connor and the Uk Oval Legends. We were made for feel very welcome by the racers and their teams, passed scrutineering and waited for the first race. Unfortunately both heats 1 & 2 were cut short having to retire from top 10 positions, in a field of 22, due to an oil catch can issue. A solid drive in the final saw Connor take a well earned 6th place.

Rebel #14 - Jake Butler

The 3rd season for Jake, who is so close to breaking into the Blue grades and a top 10 finish.
A big accident at Ipswich effected his year and confidence, however he came back fighting fit and some excellent races towards the end of the year proved he is one to watch for 2026.
A new car, new livery and the 'Action man of the year' award have given Jake a boost for the opener at Mendips Raceway on Sunday.

Good Luck Jake for 2026.
