Big win for RACC securing the 50 over title alongside the T20 Inter-Corps crown. A 163 run win over the RLC at a sunny ACG ending the season nicely. 5 wkts each for G & Schoey bowling them out for 41 in 13 overs. Martin

The 190th Gunner Sapper is over, with RECC winning by 129 runs. Declaring 8 down setting Gunners 197 to win from the last 19 overs. Having a crack to win, the Sappers took regular wkts to bowl us out for 67. Well played!! Great cricket, spirit and rivalry in a great location.

The Sappers reach 75-4 at lunch on day 3, after a losing three early wickets. Still game on, but the Gunners will need quick wickets whilst will look to bat through and close the game out to a draw.

New cap Fred Tyson appears pensive before play resumes during day 2 at Larkhill. By the close, fought back to bowl RACC out for 202 in a rain affected day. Roll on day 3!

Day 1 at Larkhill of the 2021 Gunner Sapper match. Toss was won by Alex Park who inserted the opposition, and bowled for 204 in 80 overs. Steve Booth taking 4-21. Gunners closed on 100-1 in reply.

2 great wins for the Gunners this week.
A 6 wkt win away against the RLC yesterday was followed up by a 5 wkt win at Larkhill today versus Infantry CC.
Nick Schofield took 9 wkts over the 2 matches to continue his fine form, with all batsmen contributing. Confidence and competition continues to grow. P4 W4 in the Power Cup Corps comp so far.
